The way I understand it.is that it could only be done by fellow senators, I think the recall would only apply to the governor of the state.

I don't believe that US Senators are "state officials".

Of course, that's the kind of language that would get tied up in the courts for years.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

All elected officials, except the President and Vice President of the United States are elected to represent citizens of their state. They are indeed "state officials." 18 states allow for recall of those officials. "Recall from Office" procedures are usually detailed in the state constitution.

If you wish to recall a legislator, don't expect help from any political party. They all detest the people having any means of redress -- which explains why only 18 states allow the process. So much for Lincoln's premise that this is a nation of the people, by the people and for the people.

I read, in the law realm, that if a public, elected official, neglected to protect the "rights" of the American People, they could be ejected from their seats. Preferably high, wide, and out of our space.

Therefore, public officials take oaths and if they fail to abide by them, there is a way to get them out.

Doesn't Alipac know how? Isn't there someone on here who knows the laws concerning this? Perhaps I read it in the Bill Of Rights. They do apply to us everyone!!! We have now been violated beyond the pale!
Breezy, Why don't you call Judicial Watch and let us know what they say. They'd give you that info, don't you think? Best to get it from a group such as JW.

    Good Idea, Breezy
