Maybe you guys here are the ones who would have knowledge about what I can do. But, before anyone recommends contacting ICE, save your breath. About 10 years ago, I contacted ICE about a place I worked at that employed a good number of illegals. I called them over and over and over again. They would never answer their phone. I forget if I then emailed them or sent them a letter, or most likely, I probably did both. 10 years later, and those same illegals still work there. ICE didn't do, or wasn't willing to do anything about it.

I now work at a place that also has a habit of hiring illegals. I need to know how I can report them so something is actually done about it. That's my first question. My second question is, I live in the suburbs of Chicago. Although the first place I reported is outside of Chicago's city limits, in the Chicago suburbs, as is the current place I work at, I know because of seeing this on the news lately that Chicago is a sanctuary city. Does this mean that illegals can't be touched in the workplace in Chicago, and if so, do the suburbs also count as part of this, in my opinion, illegal law of protecting them, also apply to the suburbs? That is my second question.

Third, I remember 10 years ago their was a website where you can post a picture and name of a company in order to shame them for employing illegals. Does anyone know what this site is and if it exists anymore.

Also, since I work there currently, I need to know how to report these illegals anonymously because I don't want to get fired for reporting them. Also, I saw on the news that Obama pretty much made ICE and other illegal immigration law enforcement nonfunctional when he took office. When I reported these illegals, which ICE did nothing about, was before Obama became president, when Bush was still in office. Are all these agencies still not permitted to enforce the law or has Trump done something about this, as he promised.

There is a chance these agencies may become more responsive now that Donald Trump is President so give them a try.

The website that used to exist was called wehireillegals.com but it is gone now. I came up with the idea for that site but it was created and run by Fire Coalition which turned out to be a real dud in the long run.

You can try to get a local lawmaker, a Mayor, city council member or someone in the legislature to assist. A sheriff is an option, too. This is the route some people take to be successful. Contact someone who cares about illegal immigration There has to be the will.

Thanks ALIPAC and GeorgiaPeach. I will give those a try. ALIPAC, I didn't know you can also contact the FBI. I will give them a try, and I will also tell them how I can't count on ICE because they will not do their job. Although I will go ahead and try ICE one more time as well, but I'm not really counting on their help. My past experience with them showed me how worthless they are and how unwilling they are to do their job. They won't even answer their damn phone.

I think your best bet here is to differentiate between the actions and inactions of ICE under Bush and Obama and the actions of ICE under Trump.
