Thread: Let Us Make A Real Impact On Illegal Immigration

Hello Everyone:

I am new to this forum, however, have been active in letter writing, (faxing and e-mailing) elected officials in regard to Illegal Immigration for years.............. Please post your ideas regarding how we can work together to make an impact upon or elected officials as a group.

I think that the President, most Republican Senators, the Democrats and the media are all on the same side, against us!

So as a result the only place we are often heard is on talk radio. And even there, people like Sean and Rush often are apologists for Bush.

We need something with visibility. We need to be able to steal the headlines away just like the pro-illegal groups do at their rallies. The problem is that WE ALL WORK! We can't just walk away from our other responsibilities to make headlines.

Also, we need to have someone who can lead us in any effort like this. Phil Valentine is a talk radio host in Nashville. He's recently been syndicated, but I don't know how many markets he is in. He leads the charge for this issue and doesn't pander to the President. Michael Savage does so as well. Someone like this will have to bring us together so that we can let the world know how many people are fed up with the situation on the border.
