"WE NEED TO EDUCATE AS MANY OTHERS AS WE CAN BEFORE ITS TO LATE!"
Before it's too late???????????
We should have started a month ago instead of hanging on to candidates Paul, Hunter and Tancredo. We've known for longer then a month that none of them stood a chance.

Why many S.C. conservatives love illegal immigration
Why do many S.C. conservative business-types love immigration, legal and illegal?
Simple answer: It’s great for some businesses — holding down wages and increasing business profits.
That’s certainly not new news.
But a recent study points out — strikingly so — how immigration has helped depress wages in South Carolina.
The report’s simple conclusion: As the Hispanic population has grown, wages for all workers have fallen.
That's some sobering news for S.C. workers on this Labor Day weekend.
Researchers don’t blame immigrants entirely for keeping wages low, but it seems clear that immigrants have a lot to do with the situation — at least in some core industries.
For instance, from 2000 to 2005, pay in construction — dominated by Hispanics — fell by 5 percent, the (Columbia) State newspaper reported.
That was during a dramatic housing boom, when you’d expect wages to INCREASE, not fall.
Hispanic wages, however, fell by more than 12.1 percent in construction, according to Doug Woodward, a research economist with the Moore School of Business, who co-authored the study with Elaine Lacy, with the USC Consortium for Latino Immigration Studies.
The report found that Hispanic employment increased sharply from 2000 to 2005 in construction, animal slaughtering and landscaping.
At the same time, wages fell in those industries.
In the study of more than 500 Hispanics, respondents were not asked about their legal status but it seems reasonable to infer that not all workers interviewed were legal.
Hispanic employment in construction almost doubled from 2000 to 2005.
In landscaping, Hispanic employment grew by 66.7 percent — while wages were down 16.5 percent.
Clearly, Hispanics are taking less-desirable jobs by working for lower wages — and helping to reduce the cost of labor for business.
The study also suggested that Hispanic workers were displacing other workers, especially blacks.
The median wage of all S.C. workers, adjusted for inflation, dropped 3.1 percent to $28,039 between 2000 and 2005.
Some pro-business folks may argue this is great news. Low wages are helping to increase business profits and spur further business activity and economic development — and consumers benefit from lower prices.
For S.C. workers, however — with less money in the pocket — it’s small comfort to know that some businesses may be making a bundle.

Population, 2006 4,321,249
Percentage that are HISPANIC OR LATINO .035% or 151,244
http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/45000.html
While many of the above number may be legal, I'm sure a larger % are illegal. And then there are ILLEGAL ALIENS that are NOT hispanic or latino. What are their numbers????
Apparently, there is a large enough population of ILLEGAL ALIENS that the S.C. legislature is tired of paying their bills!!!! Hence the following:
[b]From the HISPANIC TIPS site:
“If a bill before the South Carolina General Assembly is approved, any illegal immigrant caught in the state could be imprisoned for up to five years and have his or her cash, car and savings confiscated.
That’s just one of the proposed laws that puts South Carolina among the most aggressive states in the country in trying to crack down on illegal immigration….â€
