Why argue the obvious? Sue them!!

The facts, realities and existing examples of the horrific long term effects of illegal immigration should be enough for every “realâ€

Great post djr22fl! I have always wondered why American citizens haven't sued our government. It seems like we have lost alot of our rights, and illegal aliens have gained alot of "new" rights. It's so disturbing! I would definitely participate in a lawsuit to save America.

djrAt the end of the day your letter speaks volumes and deserves to be published for all the media and politicians to read and understand that you have expressed the will of the American people. Too bad those who are here illegally don't speak/understand a word of the kings English otherwise they would hang their heads and tuck their tails in shame and go home.

Boy.....I agree 100%. I've thought the same thing. I know for myself...it's not having the money to afford the lawyer to press these issues. The ACLU isn't shadowing me to jump to my rescue. They weren't there when my daughter was plain out told she couldn't get aid because she was white......they were there when the job said "biilingual" and I am bi-lingual....just don't speak Spanish. They weren't there when my husband and I weren't allowed into a Mexican music store. I mean the list goes on endlessly for so many people.....in countless situations across the board. I would LOVE to see a class action suit. I mean it's like they just changed the rules and frankly.....I don't know what they are anymore. Some apply to this and not to that.....makes no sense. Plus I really do want to know if this invasion was planned by a "secret deal" in exchange for the free trade agreement etc. I would LOVE to pull any and all tax dollars from this government since I too am sick and tired of funding things I have no access to or benefit from.

There are a few legal strategies that come to mind when dealing with illegals.

We have the RICO Act. Already this is act is being employed by American citizens against the employers of illegals. There is not a whole lot of legal precedence for RICO and illegals, but:

in 1996, Congress expanded the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) to include violations of federal immigration law.

Under the new RICO provisions, a violation of certain provisions of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) meets the definition of racketeering activity, also known as a "predicate offense," and an entity that engages in a pattern of racketeering activity for financial gain can be held both criminally and civilly liable. Among other things, the INA makes it unlawful to encourage illegal immigration or employ illegal aliens, which violations were included as predicate offenses under RICO.
    http://www.cis.org/articles/2003/back1103.html

If somone has proof of illegals being employed by the federal government, a very interesting situation would arise. It might be better to go after key individuals in the government like Ted Kennedy or Senator Durbin or Bush himself. Also, we need to target the advocacy groups for illegal aliens, like La Raza, LULAC, and the ACLU. If we can get rid of them, we eliminate our competition in this war over enforcement of our laws.

The punishments of being found guilty of RICO will lethally cripple *any* business/organization. Whether Wal-Mart or the mom and pop fruit stand down the road, RICO will put them out of business.

We also have discrimination that mentioned in the opening post. One thing that comes to mind is Bank of America. This would need to be confirmed, but Bank of America reportedly has two different procedures for giving credit cards to illegals and credit cards to legal American citizens. Social security numbers are required for opening, closing, and maintaining accounts for Americans. This appears not to be a requirement for the illegals. This situation is ripe for a discrimination suit, and could be approached as inequality and as unnecessarily exposing American citizens to data leakage. BoA lost their database backup tapes a couple of years ago and exposed several thousand social security numbers. Illegals would not suffer from this data breach. This case should force BoA to use socials for ALL credit card holders, and that will rob them from giving credit cards to illegals. The illegals could then only use stolen or false social security numbers, and that is obviously illegal.

This is only one example that comes readily to mind.

Two questions now come to the fore: who will bring this case to court and how do I support this case?

Hi djr and welcome to ALIPAC!

I like the idea and I agree with the sentiments, but I don't think it will work. I'm no legal expert by far, but a lawsuit would need to be based on the laws on the books for sure, otherwise I imagine it would get thrown out and not even heard.

Are there laws that say if the government doesn't use your tax money the way you want it, you can sue to get it back? I find it very difficult to believe that there are such laws. Also, I would be willing to bet that someone somewhere at some time in our history has tried this approach and failed. Perhaps not relating to illegal immigration, but some other issue, such as the war in Iraq or some environmental issue perhaps. Someone who's good at doing legal research could probably find out if somebody else has tried this approach and what the results were. My guess is if it was tried, it failed.

Why don't you send your letter to Judicial Watch and let them have a look at it.I have thought for sometime the RICO act gives us the right to sue.

I also believe the countries these Illegals come from should be added to the suit and they should have to pay for every dollar citizens have spent on their care and the cost to imprison them, deport them, defend them, school them and anything else anyone can think of.They should NOT be profiting from their citizens illegal behavoir which they encourage !!

Also we should sue the illegals, their assets in this country are to be seized and put into an account to be devided among every citizen !
