Why grant any amnesty to illegal aliens?

President Obama has announced plans to concentrate on immigration reform after the health care reform fiasco. While there are elements within this country advocating various degrees of amnesty, consider the following laws for violating sovereign borders around the world. Remember, the operative word is ILLEGAL:

- If you cross the North Korean border ILLEGALLY, you get 12 years hard labor.

- If you cross the Iranian border (see hikers last July) ILLEGALLY, you get detained indefinitely.

- If you cross the Afghan border ILLEGALLY, you get shot.

- If you cross the Saudi Arabian border ILLEGALLY, you will be jailed.

This is only a sample of the punishment lawbreakers, or more politely, “uninvited foreignersâ€

I DO NOT BELIEVE IN AMNESTY. I DO NOT BELIEVE THOSE POLITICIANS WHO DRAFT THE AMNESTY BILLS. JUST ENFORCE CURRENT IMMIGRATION LAWS. WE DO NOT WANT ILLEGALS, NEVER, IN THIS COUNTRY. AND IN THE FUTURE, DO NOT TALK ABOUT THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION SITUATION. DEPORT ALL ILLEGALS.

Does any sane lawmaker actually think that amnesty will be the answer to the problem?

Apparently so! At least that's what they claim. But who really knows, because of crony/corporate/scorched earth capitalism, many of these so called lawmakers have been bought off by the corporate/special interests who benefit and profit from this cheap labor and those who have an ethnocentric interest in furthering this invasion.

Under Presidents Hoover, Truman and Eisenhower, our government actually made policy decisions based on what was best for this country and the American people. Today, such decisions are made based upon what's best for a select few.

Is there any other reason our government refuses to enforce existing immigration law, while millions of Americans cannot find work? Is there any other reason as to why our government would promote this insanity called amnesty, while millions of Americans are being and will be negatively impacted by this farce! Never mind the precedent it sets by rewarding those who have violated our nations' immigration laws! That alone should make this whole amnesty chicanery a complete mockery.

Never mind the rest of America, (especially those in the lower socio-economic income levels who are being devastated by this illegal invasion) who pay dearly for this invasion, while a few robber barons line their pockets with cash and special interests, along with unions hacks, as they increase their membership and thus, influence and power.
