    GET OVER THE WHITEHOUSE

In a message given to Conservatives Newt Gingrich makes some very good points. In fact, we at Alipac are doing some of the very things he suggests.

This is part of the message:

That was one of Newt Gingrich’s most important messages in a brilliant speech delivered to the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington last month.

While the message may seem incongruous amid the fury of a presidential campaign, it is wise counsel nonetheless. Though he does not minimize the importance of the presidency, Gingrich rightly notes that, as the standard bearers for limited and local government, conservatives “should believe in a decentralized United States, where every elected official has real responsibility.â€

Newt makes some good points, but Jeff Flake (overall) is not worthy of our support. He has an F- on amnesties. And if Flake is so concerned about government spending, he surely knows -- or should know -- how many billions another amnesty would cost American taxpayers.

That's a good point. He was addressing an overall Conservative view. It wasn't just aimed at illegal immigration. I think we vote others into office who are anti-illegal immigration at the local, and state levels, they will start noticing that these up and coming guys and women could very well take their jobs.

I think these are wise words from an experienced man. He also spoke a little on the Obama's pastor issue and said something sort of profound to the Fox news person "in 20 years Obama would like to tell us that he NEVER once knew about his pastors beliefs and NEVER heard at least one of those sermons? No, I do not fall for it".

So I do think on that he was on the right track and as well with the idea of focusing our energies on local politicians and making the changes we want at a local level. Maybe in essence we should see the prez as nothing more then a figurehead, as is with the queen of England.

Gogo, actually, I have become a huge Newt Gingrich fan. Reading his book, Real Change and he has some awesome insight into this country and what ails it. I believe the man is extremely intelligent and wish he would run for President! He's a no nonsense guy and one that I could believe in.

    Newt for President!
