hello,i am new here and wish i knew more about how to be of some help to stop the waves of people overtaking our country,...i am in western nc and wish i could help in a meaningful way..i do not hate or dislike anyone but i do like my culture..... i want the rest of the world to stand on their own and not ride on our success.....i like my culture, not theirs or i would move there.....i say if the american dream is what they want, then go do what we did to get it ..CREATE IT in your own country......if we dont do somthing as a unified group everything we know will be swept away in a wave of people who do not value anything about our heritage or culture exept walmart.....i say stop a ALL immigration now while we can...ALL....theres already far to many ..thanks, CHOWDOG

Others here are from beautiful western NC.

Illegal immigration must be stopped if we want to save the country we know and love. You're right 100% about illegals creating the dream in their own countries.

If we could just get those like Dole and Burr to listen to their employers-US to close the borders and deport the illegals. Call them, write them, fax them over and over again until they get with the program.

So do we, that's why we are here and we will stay here fighting until our borders are secured, no amnesty is passed & no guest worker program is approved.

Welcome, Chowdog, it's good to have more like-minded people here. I live in Eastern NC but have traveled to Western NC and it is beautiful there in the mountains.

Chow dog- I agree with your sentiments, in fact I'd like to send WalMart back with them. Years ago when I was at Lejeune I used to travel around N.C. on weekends. It was beautiful. Hope the poultry processing plants and their cheap labor haven't screwed it up too badly.
The men in my platoon from the north called the locals "Grits". I was in Jacksonville with a group of friends on day and a Puerto Rican guy from N.Y. asked a waitress for a yelly doughnut. She couldn't understand him even after he repeated it several times. finally I told her he wanted a jelly doughnut. When she walked away he said F____ing Grits. I told him " hell man you are the one who asked for a yelly doughnut.

Welcome ChowDog from the Pacific Northwest (Oregon). We like our way of life over here too, every last little bit of it.

I personally do not plan to give my way of life up to become "multicultural" for anyone, not even George and friends. I am an American, not Mexican, and not Russian, and not German and not........well you get the picture.

I like things like Wonder Bread, HoHo's, Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, TV Dinners, the Pillsbury Doughboy, S'mores, Corn Flakes and Hersheys candy bars and last but definitely not least, I like to hear English only when I call the bank or IRS!!!!!!

I do not like walking into WalMart or Walgreens and seeing signs in Spanish and English, that pi#$&s me off!!!

I am tired of seeing baggy panted gangsters with hair nets, grabbing at their lost crotch (what the heck is that about anyways, to see if it's all still there?) every few seconds as they say crude things toward my 23 year old daughter in Spanish.

I am tired of watching illegal aliens take over neighborhoods, turning them into little Tijuana wastelands.

welcome from TX. I moved to Dallas just a short while ago and already I am trying to formulate ideas to propel the issue in front of every person I can. I have notcied the hispanic population here routinely tapes quarter flyers to apartment doors about jobs etc.. in spanish So im looking at doing the same, except for saying that the INS will be doing door to door searches next week.. then just kick back and watch the fun.

American Elizabeth- I agree with everything you said. I wonder if you have noticed that when a family of Mexican immigrants go to a store or a restaurant they take no responsibility for their out of control children. Last year I was carrying a plate of food in a Furrs buffet in El Paso trying to dodge the running children when I collided with one and got a plate of food on the front of my shirt. CPS could probably have arrested me for the language I used but fortunately my retort was in English.
On a positive note the issue is finally getting some traction. Unfortunately the open borders folks are mostly in control of the debate right now. Hopefully that will change soon when the General public is asked for feed back ( assuming the questions are framed fairly).
