Why is Karl Rove twisting arms?

If the Republican Party leadership is not the driving force for amnesty then why is Karl Rove arm-twisting House Republicans to support amnesty?

Who says they're not a driving force? HUH?

and even with that, what's the point at this moment in time?

We knew last week that Rove was dispatched to the hill for the purpose of twisting arms. This is not new news. You were right here when it was posted and discussed in who knows how many threads.

    Don't you remember, DXD?

From what I heard over the weekend from Sensebrenner and Pete King, they respectively listen to what Rove had to say, and then they practically shoved him out the door .

Let's pray that Congress continues to listen to their constituents, and do the right thing.

You continue to see the world as only made up of parties. There are people, some are traitors, in those parties. Some members of both parties are advancing the Democrat majority pro-amnesty position. These traitors resort to "arm twisting."

Sensenbrenner was on Meet The Press, Sunday. Many of the news shows on CNN, Fox, and MSNBC have shown quick short clips of Pete King, Rohrabacher, and Sensebrenner, saying how they were still against Amnesty.

From the looks of it,,, it seems like Rohrabacher, Tancredo, Pete king, Sensenbrenner, Hayworth, and majority of the others who said No to Amnesty have not changed their minds at all.

Hayworth said he expects some old fashion arm twisting, but he refuses to back down.

Congressman Steve King also has a great Bill, called the New Bill, that addresses many of the things against Amnesty, and illegal aliens that I believe most Americans will go for.

I have already sent emails to as many Congressman that I could, showing support of their stance against Amnesty.

Some congress members will not accept emails from out of state voters.
