Laura Ingraham addressed this issue almost daily during the Senate Amnesty Bill and even today I heard her talking about it with Scott Rasmussen, the pollster. Neil Boortz discussed it today as well.

This issue so concerns the American public and so it should concern Conservative Talk Radio. I am sure their listeners grew during this period and if they wished to continue the surge they should continue to address this issue.

I think Laura Ingraham is the most outspoken and consistent on illegal immigration on talk radio. And then, the ONLY one in the MSM...can't forget Lou Dobbs.

Indeed. But again, there's no proof to date that this enemy is using that border...the other enemy is, and has made at least 30 million incursions into America.

Border security is important, or else the Founders would not have made it such a prominent issue (something our elected officials who take an oath to uphold the Constitution seem not to be paying much attention to, which would make them, dare I say it, traitors). But it is not the issue here. Yes, we should secure the border. Against ALL incursions, and by the way, since we can't keep out pregnant Mexican teenaged girls hoping to have their illegitimate children in this country, how are we going to keep out terrorists trained in miltary tactics and survival?

Token, there is proof that terrorists have come through our borders. If you check out the FBI pages under "OTM's" (other than mexicans), you will find the proof.

I quit listening to Sean, O'Reilly and Rush because of the reasons you stated... They are always gushing and defending Bush on most things... Sure they talk a little about the illegal alien crisis because of terrorism...But they say nothing about how illegal immigration is destroying our culture and our way of life.

Simple. Rush, Hannity, and Beck are neoconservatives. Dump the neocons....Sure, they give passing reference to the immigration issue, but it is certainly not their #1 concern. They are Bush boys -- soon to be Giuliani or Thompson boys. Their #1 objective is that we start another neocon war in the middle-east. They use us (like the Rep party as a whole) to strengthen their ratings, but the top goal is neocon foreign policy. I'm pretty sure that Rush and Hannity are "free traders" as well. These guys are globalists, people.

Listen to Savage. He talks about the border issue as a #1 concern. He talks about NAU. I think this is all tied in to your point about terrorists being the biggest concern involving border security. It bothers me, because its like they are giving these reconquistas a free pass. How many MS-13 and Mexican mafia flow across the border? Al Qaida may come across to stage an attack, they may not. But people from Mexico with no allegiance to our nation are certainly flowing in by the thousands each and every day to repopulate and revolutionize our way of life. That should be our first and foremost concern.

I listen to Savage sometimes, and I agree with him a lot...I know a lot of people think he may be a little radical on some things, but he's smart and knows what's going on in Washington...If Savage was in charge, the illegals would be out of this country as of yesterday and the ACLU would be behind bars where they belong! He comes off heavy but that is what it is going to take to get this country back...I tired of all the PC politicians who are so afraid they might offend some one...I don't consider Mexico a friend of the United States, but Bush has spent a good part of his presidency kissing up to Mexico...The man makes me sick!

I listen to some great talk radio hosts and have to disagree with you Tokie.
So I don't share you're negativity re this subject.

That's the problem...they are not saying anything. They are pretty quiet on this, the biggest threat to America as a nation since 1945 (yes, 911 was bad, and in the long-run Islamofascism is a big threat, but this threat is already here, in our cities, destroying our country every day...with the helpf of many Americans).

This should be the front-burner issue for ALL these "conservative" yakkers, but instead it's a "on Friday's final segment..." thing.

I don't agree with you. They bash Bush all the time and William Gheen is constantly doing talk radio shows talking about illegal immigration.

Maybe you are in a filtered listening zone but I'm not. Our talkers are our biggest allies and if it weren't for them, you probably wouldn't be online right now discussing illegal immigration.

The New Media is online and talk radio. We are the people, bringing this issue to the people. No one else was doing it two years ago and they are still doing it today.
