Why Mexican-American leaders not speaking out

Why Mexican-American leaders not speaking out against conditions in Mexico. Today on Hannity, I heard Maria Conchito speak out against Hugo Chavez and conditions in Venezuela and many other immigrants are doing the same. They could be assisting those left in Mexico who are speaking out and trying to do something about the corruption and conditions in Mexico. Mexico have the resources to meet the needs of it’s people. Instead, they go after our government and anyone who speaks out against those who have come here illegally to take advantage of our system. They could do so much by speaking out and supporting those left in Mexico. Why are they not speaking out? There are people in Mexico who do not want to come here.
If Mexican-American leaders fought as hard to change cconditions in Mexico as they do to change things here for those here illegally, they could really make changes in Mexico better for it's people.

That's a darn good question, Dyehard. It's a question I've asked a few times too.

Why doesn't our president speak out and criticize and encourage the leaders in Mexico to straighten up and fly right. U.S. presidents usually say things like that to other governments where the people are struggling and not doing well. But he never mentions the root of the problem in Mexico......a corrupt government.

    Good question.

It's alright for Bush to criticize many governments around the world when he think things are not right, but he kisses the mejican govenernment's ass almost every day. Just sickens me with all the pandering he's done to make them so happy and flat out ignores the people of the United States!!

Last year, before the Mexican election...there was an article saying the rich elite in Mexico, vowed to move out of Mexico, if their taxes were raised to care for their own!

They don't want their money to go to help their own!

They want Americans to pay for them, they aid & abet in sending them here.

Mexico is rich in resources, but it's easier to get rid of the ones they don't want, than actually reform their political system!

Odd, that their elite rich want them gone, and our elite rich want them for cheap labor!
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!

I say we annex Mexico, divide it into 5 or 6 states. With all the oil down there we can kiss the middle east goodbye.
