[quote="htxpert"]How can you say fox is conservative

I would not exactly call them conservative but look at the program line up on MSNBC, that network definitely leans left and progressive. I have been very disappointed with the “Fox news contributorsâ€

How can you say fox is conservative.. Just by it's NEWS coverage? What about FOX as a whole.. all the shows as a package.. Is FOX what you can call conservative?

If it is.. You must be seing different shows - you must be receiving different signals than I do on my FOX network...

To me - it's like SATAN himself runs that network..

Man.. You guys are really making me shake my head here..

We are together on the illegals.. but cmon.. DO NOT make eat the garbage that FOX is a conservative network.

    Feel free to explain..

Fox has several channels. There is one on standard TV that has different shows and local news....And then there is the big one on the cable channel "Fox News," now since O'Reilly and Hannity have been in Bush's corner, I don't watch it as much anymore.

What EXACTLY would you call them

A little less secular progressive than MSNBC.

Shows like Cavuto, H&C more so than competing shows like Hardball with Chris Blathers and Kieth "Over my head" on MSNBC.

my point is - IF you are conservative.. you're conservative..

REAL CONSERVATIVES should be banning FOX having ANY channels wth the garbage they pump into AMERICAN living rooms..

If I want rough adult humour - I'll click on my HBO.. I can afford HBO becasue my father tought me to earn money by working hard.. but my kids do not watch "married with children" and the smut trash that followed when shows like it opened the floodgates of CRAP...

    Write these BUMS too..

Bill O"Reilly is a contradictory fellow. On the one hand he says we need "comprehensive" reform, on the other, he has stated that the motive of the liberal agenda for amnesty(and I'm assuming, unrestricted future immigration)is to break down the white male Christian power structure in the US. He has mentioned this twice in the last few weeks. He said whites musn't be allowed to lose majority status in the US. Now how you can make statements like this yet advocate for "comprehensive" reform, including guest worker programs, etc. baffles me.

I also heard part of a segment on Fox last week that cited a new study indicating Hispanics will be majority status in this country within two decades. I missed part of it, so I don't know what the source of the study was. So some on Fox are covering the issue, maybe even trying to broaden the debate to include the most politically incorrect thought of all, one that seems to paralyze liberals: that we don't need any more "diversity" in this country than we already have.
