How many elected officials claim citizenship based on less than two parents citizens?

Ted Cruz was born in Canada of a US mother and a Cuban national father. Both Marc Rubio's parents were illegal immigrants.

How many other elected officials do we have, who claim citizenship based on fewer than both parents being citizens? It would be interesting to know whatever the position, local, state or federal.

A lot. Then ask the same question about how many upper level federal workers, supervisors and managers employed by the federal government are immigrants, amnestied illegal aliens, and people who had either no or less than 2 citizen parents? Then ask how many foreign lobbyists representing foreign companies and governments are registered with the US Congress?

We've been set-up and sold-out. Time to take our country back and run our government as a real citizen operated government.

Rubio is an ANCHOR BABY........NO CITIZEN PARENTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cruz MIGHT be a citizen......an Ordinary Citizen.....NOT NATURAL BORN CITIZEN with 2 Citizen parents!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you could name a few in the Senate, Congress or among governors or mayors, that would be more to the point.

Does anyone else actually know some places and names where the elected official claims citizenship from fewer than two parents?

It might be easier to stick to the Senate or Congress and governors or mayors.

In this thread, let's avoid the subject of whether they are citizens or not and stick to the circumstances of their birth and whether both parents are citizens or not. We might also like to know where they were born.

Well, I'll start with Ted Cruz (Senate), Marco Rubio (Senate), Nikki Haley (Governor), Bobby Jindal (Governor) and others more knowledgeable than I can continue the list, like a chain letter.

"However, because Cruz’s mother, Eleanor, was a United States citizen at the time of his birth, experts largely agree that Cruz is, indeed, a natural born citizen. Cruz, prior to the run-up to his presidential bid, even renounced his dual-citizenship with Canada in 2014.Further, because Cruz never had to petition the U.S. government for citizenship, he is most certainly considered a natural born U.S. citizen. Any citizen who is not a naturalized citizen — meaning they had to earn their citizenship — then they are a natural born citizen."

MW, try to stay on topic. If you want to make a contribution to the thread, why not submit some names of people you know of in government who claim citizenship based on fewer than both parents.

I find this thread embarrassing. Maybe everyone should go back and study American History. I am amazed to read all these post from everyone using much the same language as was used in our past history to not allow Native Americans citizenship. It was not until June 2, 1924 that Congress granted citizenship to all Native Americans born in the U.S.
Do you not realize that even as late as 1948 many states did not recognize Native Americans the rights of citizenship and they were not even allowed to vote or hold an elected office. I guess according to many on this thread their children would have been born to non citizens and couldn't run for president or even hold an elected office.
