Romney targets illegals in new Spanish language ad!

    País De Inmigrantes

    País De Inmigrantes - YouTube

Edit: Mayday was nice enough to provide translation of the ad three posts down. Sorry for not providing a translation earlier. I got the video off another site that summarized the gist of the video.

Is this Romney's master strategy to not alienate the illegal alien bloc by providing these sort of concessions? In order to not energize the other side to come out for Obama? Amazingly, a few people believe just that. It is clear Romney has no real intention of dealing with the issue in the way most Americans want it dealt, instead he'll, like Bush, attempt to work with Democrats on a "bipartisan" solution and we all know how great that went right?

It's the same crap all over again. Continuing to vote for the lesser of two evils will not put pressure on either party to deal with the issue in a responsible manner because they don't have to take us seriously because we'll just fall in line with our respective party at the end of the day. I'm telling you guys, we need to establish a America People's Party that will get out of the way on social issues, cut through the BS on illegal immigration, end the wars, enact sound fiscal policy and most importantly LISTEN to us.

I'm betting the video has nothing to do with illegal immigration. Why would you provide a video that the majority of us can't understand? I'll hold off making further comment to your post until you provide an English translation.

I used babelfish to translate what's written under the video to English.:

El anuncio, titulado "País de Inmigrantes", muestra a Craig Romney hablando sobre el compromiso de su padre con trabajar por una solución bipartidista y a largo plazo para los desafíos que enfrenta nuestro país en materia de inmigración. Como presidente, Mitt Romney trabajará con republicanos y demócratas para arreglar nuestro sistema de inmigración, el cual está roto. El anuncio será transmitido por televisión en mercados claves a través de la nación. (Spanish)
The ad, entitled Inmigrantes "pais", shows Craig Romney talking about the commitment of his father to work for a bipartisan solution and long-term challenges facing our country in the field of immigration." As President, Mitt Romney will work with Republicans and Democrats to fix our system of immigration, which is broken. The announcement will be broadcast on television in key markets across the nation. (English)

And whose problem is that huh? It's Mitt Romney's. Complain to him for running ads in a foreign language and not the language spoken by all legal Americans, ENGLISH. Who else would he be speaking to? Oh but I'm sure it's all just fine because it's Romney and he's clearly not talking about illegal immigration in this ad, I mean why else would he mention working with Democrats if it was right? Keywords to take away from this are immigration, bipartisanship and Democrats. Connect the dots yourself or not if you don't want to see the truth.

It was Romney's son who was speaking Spanish, not Mitt. Since when is speaking Spanish an endorsement of illegal immigration? I'm beginning to think you take pleasure in antagonizing ALIPAC Romney supporters. You did a good job in pushing Roofer's buttons, am I your next target?

Why don't you dedicate some of your efforts to attacking Obama on the illegal immigration issue? After all, he's a lot worse on the issue than Romney is. Exactly what is your agenda?

Oh so you think that I'm somehow taking pleasure in exposing the truth in order to save my country and then get accused by people like you of solely doing it for giggles right? Immature much? I'm 24, how old are you again? And who is the one quoting my posts and responding to them, you. So who is targeting who here. If you're finding it difficult to defend your Romney's pathetic stance on illegal immigration don't take it out on me. Others here appreciate me exposing the dishonesty rampant among our political class. In my short amount of time following politics I've already woken up to how much it's damaging our country.

And this ad is from Romney's campaign. You can figure that out.

You have not addressed MW"s question about using your efforts to attack Obama 's agenda on illegal immigration.

Constructive Confrontation: Stick to the topic. Once you go personal you lose the argument.

Is this about being right or is it about saving the country from illegal immigration?

Ease up MW. We have made it as clear as we possibly can that both people that support Mitt Romney and those that will not because of his stances on immigration are welcome here.

If you want to increase the damage already being done to this organization, our cause, and activists then keep that aggression going and it will lead you right to that destructive result.

I have even dedicated an entire post to this consideration.

Please review the ALIPAC rules about personal insults against other users.

ALIPAC is a place that is open and welcoming to many people of many different viewpoints and candidate choices.

We are not going to let anyone be brow beat over their opinion like this. We would not let someone do it to you MW and we will not let you do it to anyone else.

And if you are so very concerned about STR and some of the others that disobeyed our rules, tried to abuse other posters, and wasted God knows how many hours of our moderators volunteer time that you want to join them then there's the door.

I will suggest once and only once that you do not mention that banned user or any of his small group of friends we showed the door here again.

Because you know what? I'm done with this discussion and these discussions and Ill do whatever I need to do to keep this online community a welcoming place where people debate with respect for each other.

We will not be having this discussion again MW.
