    The Widman Act Hooray for FL.

    I just heard on the news Ft Myers Police Chief is in Washington asking Congress to pass The Widman Act.

    Widman was a young Police Officer who was shot point blank by an Illegal Alien Cuban who had been released from jail because Cuba refused to allow him to be deported back to Cuba.

    The Widman Act would make it mandatory that ALL Illegal Alien's arrested would not be released from jail until/unless they are deported.

    The Police Chief is asking Congress to make this Act a Federal Law across our Country.

    It sure would Swatchick.

    They said there are approx 900 serious Illegal Alien criminals who have been released back into Fl. communities.

    With Secure Communities this would mean NO More 4 days in jail and then release because ICE refuses to pick up arrested IA's.

    I think the Widman Act has a good shot of passage even with some Dems.
