    Bingo! That is their primary objective, in addition to receiving all of the benefits the child will receive by virtue of their citizenship.

    They will have a hard time bringing it up again I think before the 2008 election, but then we should never trust them.

    Sure it will. Harry "sell out" Reid and El Presidente Jorge Boosh have a lot of contributors to pay back.

    What I learned today from the Republican discussion on the Dream Act;

    -----61 cent tax on pack of cigarretes.
    -----will need thousands of new smokers
    -----taxe will be on the poor who make up most of the smokers
    -----funding end in 5year, 6 month and them the plan immediately drops 80% of the children.
    -----Section 211 and 602 of the plan covers illegals....income is disregard------some state will cover adults.
    -----earning up to 60-80 thousand will be covered.

    However, Section 211 ("Verification of declaration of citizenship or nationality for purposes of eligibility for medicaid and chip") describes how eligibility for the program can be proven by providing a name and a social security number. That's then verified with the Commissioner of Social Security. That would allow illegal aliens and others to obtain benefits using someone else's name and SSN, just as long as they match.
