It an't over till it is really over!
Keep your fighting hats on. We still have a long way to go. Keep the pressure on the senate and Bush to build that fence they promised. Put the pressure on ICE to do there job and immigration. Go state by state and lets get it done. They will wait for us to calm down and then another secret meeting will take place. Keep on top of talk radio and don't let Fienstien shut it down like she wants to.
Keep your fighting caps on. We are saving future generations of the United States of American.

My thoughts exactly. We have to stay on top of all of this mess and all of the crooked senators and reps. There is no telling what they will try to pull next.

Paige,
I'm in it and I'm not quitting, until I see mass self deportation!
Great things will be happening for us but we need to work hard to achieve everything we get.

I'm telling you, the open border should be the #1 issue. Now that this immigration bill is dead (maybe not quite), we need to press the government for border security and protection. Duncan's fence should be sped up.
Yes, the employers who hire the illegals need to be sought after too.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Yeah we need things fixed, but fixed OUR way.
illegals need to be deported, either self deported or enforced deportation
these companies that skirted the law by hiring them and exacerbating the problem need to be prosecuted.
Companies that are trying to push for more H1B visas need to be stopped as well as this is just the other side of the coin on this issue.
English needs to be the official language.
AND EVERY TRAITOR IN D.C. NEEDS TO BE FIRED, or dare I dream, PROSECUTED!!

Yes, I was thinking along the same theme after the current bill went down in flames this morning. I'm someone has asked the question: "Now What?"
I'm sure W will have plenty to say as we all take a brief respite and compose the next stage of activities. There's lots to be done for sure!
I can see that encouraging local / state governments to move aggressively forward (w/ laws, enforcement) will be important, and so too, will be the border fence, employer / interior enforcement, and making sure ICE / CBP have all the tools and support they need to move forward in doing more in the near future ...all is just IMHO, but I think it's fair to say that enforcement-oriented things are going to be the core of whatever comes next.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Thanks to Dagmar for reminding me...
Yes, also dealing with the current backlog of overstays/absconders, and putting some serious limitations on corporate lobbying to undermine American workers is badly needed in the bigger picture of things (IMHO).
Let me thank Senators Dorgan, Sanders and Sessions for their very public and articulate comments which have shed light on the plight of the all-too-forgotten American worker.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Yup, today we were on defense on 4th and goal. We stopped em. The ball is now ours but we are backed up to the goal line and need to figure out what our next play is.
We've shown our great defense, lets see what we can do on offense
