Actually, FWIW, while of course, it is important to make each of your own voices heard, I have always contended that equally important, is the spreading of the movement. Go to your circle of family and friends, sign up or convince someone that was previously 'sitting on the fence' on the issue.
I'm here to tell ya, it can be done! Plus, in doing this, you'll be forced to master the subject matter even better, as well as, learn some important skills in the art of persuasion too.

Today - focus on contacting the senators. Tomorrow, think about how to get more people involved too.

Told them that the sentiment of the public had not changed about amnesty 1348. Couldn't understand why he would want to follow the soon-to-be most unpopulat President in history off of a cliff.

Said no to amnesty: Americans want existing immigration laws enforced!

Ask her if she'd heard about Reid's 19% approval rating???
