I have been emailing everyone in applicable state, local and federal government email addresses I find about closing the borders for the last three days. The few replies are of the computer-generated "we appreciate your comment" kind.

Will work on this tonight and in the morning. I've been working most of the day.

You do know Fox news is calling this crazy to use the swine flu to close the border. Do you have or have you sent them a press releases how this is one of the catalysts the American public has been afraid of? I wounder if they know we already have them bringing in TB and Leprosy so we should continue to say oh well it’s already here to late? Let’s just sit on our hands and do nothing.

To be honest we cannot totally close the border but it sure as heck should be secured. Use the military to stop all illegal crossing. Stop all tourist crossings. Only allow essential products and government/business crossings, and all of them should be thuroughly inspected.
