Thread: Outing Huckabee

I think it's absolutely necessary to point out where exactly, in the wording of Huckabee's plan, the obfuscation of his intent -- touchback amnesty -- is.

When you read his entire plan, it's not obvious where the lies are placed.

It's not enough to just call it 'shamnesty,' which sounds a tad like playground name-calling. We're above that.

Otherwise, people may not accept our message or 'get it.'

If we get our message on TV, or go door-to-door and just TELL people it's a lie, it's much less effective than SHOWING them it's a lie.

Details matter in a situation like this.

I think, without that kind of exposure, Huckabee will be able to achieve enough confusion to cover his tracks and succeed.

Other sections of Huckabee's plan play a shell game with words. ALL of them need to be cited and deciphered to SHOW the deception.

Huckabee needs to be outed EMPIRICALLY.

Huckabee is a thief and a liar.

His plan is irrelevant. He could promise the world, and it would make no difference. HIS INTENT IS CLEAR FROM HIS RECORD AND STATEMENTS. And not mild statements, but full BLOWN statements.

You get Mr. Gheen, Mr. Beck, And other notables in the movement.... and make a 30 second tv commercial AND radio commercial.

I am sure we have "producers" who will do this for free. We raise the money and we run these ads.

We have to let the public know that Huckabee is HORRIBLE!

You see all my yacking about the MSM !!!! This guy IS ONLY POPULAR because he has been pimped and coddled from the MSM since his "meeting with the CFR in September"....

Most Americans just look at the ussues superficially -- which is what Huckabee is counting on. If the public perceives someting looks OK (because the agenda is hidden well enough from their superficial perusal of it), they'll accept it.

It's up to us activists to press the issue that his own CURRENT statements and positions indict him.

I couldn't agree with you more in both of your posts. People need the "whys" to what your saying on any issue. I don't pay attention to anyone who just makes inflammatory statements. I want to know their reasoning behind it. If we don't, they will think that we are just a reactionary and have not thought it through. If someone said something about a person, you have to give me WHY and how you came to that conclusion.

You misunderstood me.

I am saying his PLAN is irrelevant in that there is no need to nitpick as its all a a lie, given his past stances and his CFR connections.

SO, if you want to refute certain aspects of it - that is great, I am just saying that I take what he says as all lies. So looking at the nuances is irrelevant in that he will keep no promises.

William is asking us to donate to get a team to Iowa to make calls to refute Huckabee and the difference between what he is saying and what the problems are with it. IF we get a chance to go on air, we need SPECIFICS to those who aren't here day in and day out and know the differences. Act like these poor people have never heard of any of these things and you're just giving them, good, specific, information.

Anything here is mostly preaching to the choir. Other than new people looking for information.

The fact that YOU know he's a liar, doesn't change the numbers in IOWA.

That's what it's all about. Stopping Huckabee's momentum in this campaign before it starts.

Yeah. I got that email from William. The OP's post made NO reference to that email, nor the "course of action".

I missed the point on "specific items" that are needed to refute anybody who has something say in support of huckabee.

I thought the OP was just letting off steam without actually implementing any wide push to the contrary.
