Worst Living Person Take Two: Eric Holder

Pat Gray is a talk radio and television host. He is a co-host of The Glenn Beck Radio Program, a nationally syndicated radio talk show featuring Glenn Beck. He is also the co-host of Pat & Stu alongside Stu Burguiere on TheBlaze.

A few weeks ago I wrote an article stating the obvious fact that Sen. Harry Reid is the worst living human being on the planet.
Just to show how open-minded and inclusive I am, I’m now willing to entertain the possibility that U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder is at least, in contention with Reid, for that very special honor.
When have Americans ever witnessed anyone more egomaniacal or openly hostile to political opponents in any administration during this nations’ history? Actually, we have seen it, but not in my lifetime.
Eric Holder doesn’t believe that there is anyone who should dare to challenge him on anything. We’ve always known that this president is head over heels in love with himself, but Eric Holder makes Barack Obama seem positively shy and retiring, even downright humble in comparison.

The latest example of Holders’ “worst living human being” status occurred just last week, when he spoke to a Congressman on the House oversight committee, Louie Gohmert, in a way I don’t think I have ever witnessed before. Holder addressed Gohmert, who is an exceptionally good man, a man of integrity and honor, with such disrespect, such contempt, that if this was any other president in office right now, Holder would have been fired immediately after the hearing.
Gohmert was questioning Holder at a House Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, and Holder was again asked for documents related to the Fast and Furious scandal that led to his being held in contempt of Congress two years ago.
As Gohmert informed Holder that the information his department promised was inadequate, he also told him that he “realized contempt is not a big to the Attorney General;” to which Holder said: “you don’t want to go there buddy, alright? You don’t want to go there, OK?
Yes, a sitting U.S. Attorney General, used a very derisive “buddy,” in referring to a sitting U.S. Congressman. But Holder was just getting warmed up. Listen to the full exchange here….

After what amounted to a threatening warning “not to go there”, Holder jumped in as Gohmert’s time ended with, “good luck with your asparagus?” That of course, was a reference to another heated exchange with Gohmert at a hearing nearly a YEAR ago.
Gohmert has since explained that, that was a decades old reference to a trial lawyer, Percy Foreman, who used the phrase to ratchet down the level of rancor in the courtroom. But Eric Holder had held on to that comment for 11 months, waiting to use it against him with all the enmity he could muster. At the same time, having no understanding or any interest in trying to understand, why Gohmert said it. He just couldn’t wait for the chance to mock him with it.
You get the feeling as you watch the exchange, that if it was within Holder’s power, Louie Gohmert would have been on his way to a re-education camp before the hearing ended.
Yet, it was Holder who had the unmitigated gall to claim that he was the onewho has been mistreated.
On Wednesday, Holder spoke to a group of supporters at the National Action Network:
I am pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and lasting reforms, even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted ugly and divisive adversity. And if you don’t believe that, you look at the way — forget about me, forget about me — you look at the way the Attorney General of the United States was treated yesterday by a House Committee. It had nothing to do with me, forget about that. What Attorney General has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? What President has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?
Uh, let’s see, have you ever heard of Alberto Gonzalez, Eric? He was absolutely brutalized by Democrats. Does John Ashcroft ring a bell? He too was savaged while in office. Everything is “unprecedented” to this group of Democrats.
In the brilliant words of Indigo Montoya from “Princess Bride”: “you keep using that word, I do not think it means what they think it means.”
Holder has refused to submit to the repeated demands for information from Congress, to the point of being held in contempt, as they struggle to get to the bottom of issues as serious as Fast and Furious, the program he implemented, which involved illegally running guns to Mexico, and which, resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people in Mexico, as well as U.S. Border agent Brian Terry and ICE Agent, Jaime Zapata; but he’s the one being mistreated?

Always the victim, even as he victimizes others. Amazing.

This administration, and Holder in particular, pull that off better than anyone. He will lead you to believe, without necessarily saying it, that the persecution he’s faced is all racially motivated as he alluded to at the National Action Network last week.
Has anyone let him know that he has ascended to become the Attorney General of the United States of America? If not, someone should. Maybe it’s just me, but that position doesn’t exactly scream of the “Man” keeping someone down.
But I truly believe that race is one of the motivating, driving forces in his life. Can anyone forget his “nation of cowards” comment from 2009?
“In things racial we have always been and I believe continue to be, essentially, a nation of cowards,” Holder said.
He actually prefaced that statement by saying that while “this nation has proudly thought of itself as an ethnic melting pot…” he then delivered his blistering insult to the country.
To Eric Holder, we are not a melting pot, and we shouldn’t be proud, because we’re nothing but cowards. We’re racists. Holder personifies the kind of divisive, nasty, America-hating radicals President Obama enjoys surrounding himself with. And then those on the left wonder why we on the right have a problem with him.

While our Attorney General has no problem with calling Americans “cowards,” he is very much unwilling to pin labels on the terrorists that are trying to murder us. At a judiciary hearing in 2010, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas) desperatelytried to get Holder to identify our terrorist enemies.
If you’ve never seen the exchange between the two, you have to see it to believe it.

To Holder, there didn’t seem to be a “variety of reasons” Americans didn’t want to discuss race, it was simple. They are cowards. But trying to get him to admit that the biggest terror threat we face comes from radical Islam, is like trying to get Barack Obama to admit that he’s responsible for anything; it’s virtually impossible.
It’s very telling how vitriolic Eric Holder is with his own countrymen on the other side of the isle, but he doesn’t seem to share that same vitriol for those who wear suicide vests and blow themselves up on school busses and restaurants, or set improvised explosive devices for our troops.
So, let’s quickly sum up who this man is. We are talking about the top law enforcement officer in America. A man who recently told the New York Times that State Attorney’s General didn’t have to enforce laws with which they disagree, specifically citing gay marriage.
If that doesn’t emphasize the point that we are now a nation of men, not a nation of laws, I don’t know what does.
He has been caught lying under oath to Congress, in the James Rosen, media-spying case.

In 1995, he asked a school board to make a part of every school day, in every school, at every level, some sort of anti-violence, anti-GUN message. It was part of his campaign to [emphasis added] “brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.”
I personally, would like to shy away from “brainwashing” anyone, about anything, especially someone’s rights that are guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. And I certainly don’t want our children brainwashed in our schools.
Now, I realize that I made the definitive argument that Harry Reid was “the worst living human being” on the planet, just a few short weeks ago. And frankly, I may have become a victim of my own persuasiveness.
But consider this, no one died when Harry Reid lied (thank you for that rhyme, Bush haters). According to Mexico’s Attorney General, hundreds have died due to Fast and Furious, in addition to two of our own agents, and all Eric Holder does is continue to mock and ridicule those attempting to get to the truth. And that is just one of multiple, serious issues that cry out for Holder to be removed from office.
Eric Holder has been proven to be a liar, a man who wants to brainwash our children; an attorney general who has no respect for the rule of law, no respect for members of Congress who have the responsibility of the oversight of his office, who’s failed policies have cost lives on both sides of the border, and who, at the very least, has serious racial issues.
There is perhaps only one thing left to say in conclusion to Eric Holder being the worst living human being on this planet; good luck with your asparagus, Mr. Holder.

As an old man I sometimes ponder how or why our country has produced such unlikable characters in politics, lack of morals, values, were they this way thorough childhood, perhaps our poor public schools and universities, whatever the reason, people like Reid, Holder, Pelosi, McCain and others are hurting the country.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
