Thread: Are you planning a rally or march?

Summer of 2005, May 6 2006.... rallies held in Council Bluffs Iowa and Lincoln Nebraska.

At both rallies the attendees were older folks. Mainly 50 years old and up. A large percentage of retired age. Very few younger folks, 30 years old and younger.

If you are involved with planning an event I suggest doing your recruiting/advertising/poster posting/etc where the older folks hang out.

Also, older folks are likely less involved with family, raising kids, more time to do stuff and....... it appears the older folks are more patriotic on the whole than younger folks. Perhaps less brainwashing to accept invasion has sunk in????

If your town/city has a newspaer catering to older folks that might be a great place to advertise an event. Any "active living" retirement centers where mobile elderly live? Place a poster!!!!

Sadly, so few young folks have attended the rallies here in the proverbial "heartland."

So, if you want crowds, if you want to make a presence..... get the word out to the older folks!!!!!

Just wondering whats the AARP's stand on Illegal Aliens? Anytone out there a member that could get an official answer from the Leadership of the AARP?

Well obbop, I am 38 and holding a rally here in Portland, Oregon tomorrow. Many people showing up here will be "younger". I guess it is just a demographics issue. When we were at the protest a few weeks ago for Oregonians for Immigration Reform, it was a mix of ages.
