Thread: "Zero Tolerance" Working At Border Crossing

Article in today's USA Today says the Zero Tolerance policy being used at one stretch of the border in Texas has led to a big decrease in the number of illegals trying to cross there. Zero Tolerance means those apprehended are treated as criminal violators, not just a civil misdeamenor type of thing. Only problem seems to be that this policy involves locking up the offenders for a period of time - and the local authorities are running out of jail space.

They need to start deporting the illegals. All those that cross our borders illegally are criminals. There is no question about it.
