UNC Alumnus Commends Students for Rejecting Illegal Alien Candidate & Agenda

While actress Eva Longoria and the Islamic news network Al-Jazeera are mourning the fact their endorsed illegal immigrant candidate for student body President of the University of North Carolina lost in a landslide, NC native and UNC alumnus William Gheen is issuing a note of thanks to the UNC students who defeated Emilio Vicente in a landslide!

"It is so encouraging to see a large majority of UNC students deliver a land slide defeat to the illegal immigrant Emilio Vicente and his agenda in support of taxpayer funded in-state tuition for illegal aliens," said William Gheen President of ALIPAC "Emilio Vicente should not be depriving an American or legal immigrant of a seat at UNC! He should not be in America, much less flaunting his status as an illegal alien."

The illegal immigrant champion Emilio Vicente was soundly defeated in the run off by a 27.43-point margin, reports The College Fix. The final tally in the runoff for student council president at North Carolina’s flagship taxpayer-funded university was 2,681 votes for Vicente (35.47 percent) and 4,760 votes (62.9 percent) for his opponent, U.S. resident Andrew Powell. Powell focused on issues important to all students, not just illegal aliens, such as tuition rates and local housing laws that discriminate against students.

William Gheen attended UNC in the late 80's and was a resident of Winston Hall on Conner Beach. While completing his undergraduate degree at East Carolina University, William Gheen served as Sr. Class President at ECU and as a statewide officer as President of the North Carolina Federation of College Democrats in 1994.

Emilio Vicente is an illegal immigrant from Guatemala who campaigned on issues such as "support for the undocumented" and providing in-state tuition for illegal aliens such as himself. William Gheen and his organization ALIPAC soundly defeated HB 1183, a bill designed to provide in-state tuition for illegals, back in 2005. Since that time, the messages and tactics used to defeat the measure in NC have been used to defeat similar legislation in more than 20 states.

"Eva Longoria, Al-Jazeera, George Soros, La Raza, MALDEF, LULAC, and all the other illegal alien invasion supporters need to understand that they were just defeated at one of the most liberal universities in our state," said William Gheen. "Even young liberal students are opposed to illegal immigration. North Carolina is still fighting back against these injustices being thrust upon us by invaders and their supporters and in the end we will win. We must win. This is our home and our nation. It belongs to us."
