According to court documents, on Feb. 19, 2009, Balam was riding in a stolen car with other MS-13 members “hunting” for rival gang members.

On Monday, Deon Bonner, aka “Spanish Fly,” 26, pleaded guilty to the same offense; Chad Johnson, aka “Ocho Hood Fame,” 24, pleaded guilty to one count of sex trafficking of children. In late October, Stanley Johnson, aka “Pee Wee,” 24, pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of children.

Kingpin of Orange County synthetic drug ring pleads guilty to multiple federal charges
Sean Libbert, 41, of Newport Beach, pleaded guilty to a series of charges related to a scheme to distribute synthetic drugs commonly called “spice” or “bath salts.” Some of the drugs in this case nearly killed a victim who ingested them, according to the 16-count indictment filed in June 2014 that was the first in the Central District of California involving drug analogues.

Michael J. Ferguson Special Agent in Charge of the Drug Enforcement Administration New England Division and Deirdre M. Daly, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that Brittany Esposito, 27, of Wallingford, pleaded guilty before Senior U.S. District Judge Alfred V. Covello in Hartford to one count of distribution of heroin. The charge stems from an ongoing statewide initiative targeting narcotics dealers who distribute heroin, fentanyl or opioids that cause death or serious injury to users.
