Ask your Senators to Vote Against Irish Guest Worker Bill

This week, Senator Scott Brown (R-Mass.) plans to bring his Irish guest worker bill up for a vote. The legislation would amend the Immigration and Nationality Act to add the Republic of Ireland to the E-3 visa program. If passed, an additional 10,500 visas would be available to workers from Ireland to compete for U.S. jobs. The two-year visas can be renewed indefinitely.

This is bad legislation that would bring in more foreign workers to compete against unemployed Americans. Please call your U.S. Senators and ask them to oppose S. 2005, Sen. Brown's Irish guest worker legislation.

There is an article here on ALIPAC describing how foreign nationals from Europe are undercutting American seaman's wages by sometimes even working for nothing, or next to nothing to get hired as ship crewmen.

This is yet another of the many examples of the U.S. Congress preempting the well-being and livelihood of their own U.S. Citizen constituents and favoring foreign lobby interests.

Well people need to send in donations, or go ahead and try to go it alone! And me yelling at illegals "You Suck!" really ain't stopping the invasion, like I said before I've been screwed and am being screwed by illegals, and I can assure everyone here they don't want my hard dirty ass job! "They want "YOUR" job!" LOL!!!

Mixed feelings about this. Irish workers are more likely to work, and then go back home if the work dries up (as they did in the early 2000s when their economy was booming). If they stay, they totally assimilate into American culture and have very low welfare use rates compared with other immigrant groups, according to CIS.org. Whereas 71% of Mexican illegals in TX receive at least one form of welfare, and they NEVER assimilate. We see illegals here 20 years who do not speak a word of English, and despise America. NumbersUSA is NOT like ALIPAC. They do a lot of good, but remember that they are funded by environmentalists and Planned Parenthood International veterans who oppose population growth because of adverse affects on the environment. They oppose all immigration, whereas ALIPAC opposes illegal immigration. To expend hundreds of thousands of dollars over 10,000 Irish workers is a bit silly. I also dislike NumbersUSA's embrace of an E-Verify bill that bans Arizona and Alabama's state laws.

I agree with Steve. Until we have a need for workers folks should learn to get along where they are in their home countries.

Alert! Call your Senators and say NO to Sen. Brown's work visas for Irish workers!

In spite of massive unemployment in America, Senator Scott Brown (R-MA) wants to add 10,500 annual guest worker visas for Irish nationals. The E-3 visas added by S 2005 could be renewed indefinitely so the legislation would lead to a permanent increase in U.S. population and continuing job competition for scarce jobs. The number of imported workers would continue to increase as additional visas are given to the spouses and children, up to the age of 21, of the Irish workers.

There could be a vote this week.

Well I am not worried about a couple thousand Irish people. My efforts will go towards the MILLIONS of illegal mexicans that are roaming around. Besides, the Irish have a cute accent, they put food coloring in their beer, and they go around wearing pins that say "Kiss me I'm Irish." Damn it, I just cant get mad enough at them to call anybody.
