Trump isn't right. He cannot end birthright citizenship or chain migration with an Executive Order. It would be nice if it were that simple, but unfortunately it's not.

He can end birthright citizenship for children of illegal aliens with an Executive Order, that's what we're talking about here, not ending birthright citizenship for Americans that is protected by the 14th Amendment or children of legal immigrants that is protected by a US Supreme Court Case. When you end birthright citizenship for anchor babies, you automatically end the accompanying chain migration. No citizenship, no chain. Duh.

He can't take citizenship away from those the government has already issued passports and SS numbers to, but he can certainly stop it going forward.

And yes, it is that simple. Illegal alien and pro-immigration advocates will sue and challenge it, and the courts will address it.

In fact, I'm surprised that Jeff Sessions hasn't already issued a legal opinion from DOJ on the subject. He should!!

Start getting the "Certificate of Child Born Abroad" documents printed up and send the to Bureau of Vital Statistics!

YES!! That is what all the states should be doing. The federal government only controls 2 aspects of this, issuing passports and SS numbers. Federal government can stop doing that tomorrow by Executive Order. In fact, Trump could get Congress to back him up on this in a reconciliation bill because it impacts budget, spending, taxes and deficits.

STEPHEN MILLER, if you're reading today, call Trump and tell him he needs to do this immediately. And tell Sessions to get his research together so he can back him up.
