Thread: Do you get sickof hearing constant Spanish chattering?

I got a notice from AT&T Uverse that "good news" I would not have 19 more Spanish channels included in my subscription. I was on the phone to AT&T in a heartbeat.

3 times in my life, I was nearly, very nearly killed by men other than white and other than black.
2 of those times I could have avoided the danger I was in if I knew what the hell was being said right in front of me.
I got out alive barely.
I was only a boy when this happened, I never want this to happen to anyone.
I just don't want any Americans to be caught with their"pant's on the ground!"
"And I can still out run Forrest Gump!"

I agree and in the workplace it can make a big difference as well. In Maimi Dade County their offices are in a tall building in downtown Miami. Their maintenance people do speak English and if there was a fire or other type of emergency people could die.

Oklahoma's immigration law
"HB 1804" ,prohibits any language other that English to be used. And it's enforced.

That's a first! Every time I've seen a state make English the official language, they spend millions of tax dollars to put it through and don't even bother to enforce it.

yes i do get sick of hearing it

I really got disguisted when the fortune cookie I got with lunch had the fortune in both English and Spanish.

And what was it you told them on the phone?
