Citizens for Immigration Reform, Dallas Rally
http://www.cfirdallas.com/cfir-Event20060408.html
Demonstration
Sat Apr 8 11am-1pm
Carrying signs on the NW and SW corners of
Walnut Hill & Central Expressway
A COUNTER PROTEST
TO THE NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION FOR IMMIGRANT RIGHTS
planned for April 10 in ten cities across our nation.
Dallas is not one of the cities listed, but we cannot forget that 1500 protesters showed up at
Dallas City Hall on March 25, and on March 27 kids walked out of school to protest. These
kids were mobilized through the internet. Can we do no less than mobilize our friends,
families and acquaintances anyway we can to join us in this counter protest.
Park in the shopping center parking lot, but away from the stores. We will fan out on both
sides of the access road and Walnut Hill.
Those who turned out for the large protests that were held last week have organizations that
support and mobilize them. We are a small group, and we need everyone! Ask your friends,
families and acquaintances to come with you.
The media has asked us to call them each time we have a protest, so please turn out -- let us
be seen and heard.
You should make up your own signs and slogans, but always remember no defamatory
language, no crudity, "just the facts", such as:
ILLEGAL ALIENS ARE NOT CITIZENS
CITZEN RIGHTS ARE FOR CITIZENS ONLY
YES TO HR4437 -- NO TO AMNESTY
ENFORCEMENT FIRST
SECURE THE BORDERS
AMERICA FIRST
NO TO SENATE GUESTWORKER BILL
NO CITIZENSHIP PATH FOR ILLEGALS.
EACH ILLEGAL FAMILY COSTS TAXPAYERS $55,000
Make your printing large, bold, and broad.
