    Goldengate Minutemen "ALLOWED" in July 4th Parade.

    Hello all,
    I'm posting you to tell you all about the attempt of our city "officials" in Fremont, CA. to keep the Golden Gate Minutemen from marching in the city's Independence Day Parade this year. Of course being good Patriots that we all are, we couldn't stand for that. After the city council heard that we would be filing a LAW SUIT if we were not allowed in, they reconsidered, having no real or lawful reason to keep us out. One council member, Bob Wieckowski , said he didn't like us and hoped to see us booed!

Despite the city officials and their feelings, we were well received by the gathered crowd of 20,000 people! You can hear the cheers on the video short on our site. The council had NO reason to exclude us, yet you can hear one members stupid remarks in the KGO report, that make NO SENSE.

    I'm proud of you for standing up for your rights to march in the parade.Sorry about those people that tried to keep you out of it.
    Strange how you can be proud of anything nowadays except being American.
