Restore the Double-Layer Fence Mandate…
Fax Congress and Demand The Fence is Built As Promised!

Backroom shenanigans in Congress gutted the Secure Fence Act all but nullifying construction of a double layered fence along our Southern border. Construction of this fence would have been the first REAL step toward true immigration reform. Instead, DHS is racing to build their version of a border fence—not the promised double-layered variety that was signed into law, but rather a cheap, ineffective substitute that includes chain-link, picket, and virtual fencing—the latter of which has already proven to be hopelessly insufficient.

The American people were promised a double-layered fence, and we are calling on every team member to send personalized faxes to members of the House and Senate—demanding support of HR 4987—key legislation that would require the double-layered fence be built as promised!

Seems they want to make sure this doesn't work...just like 20 million for the "virtual fence" that didn't work. Didn't they get a receipt with the ability to return defective products?

Yoda comes to mind.....Do or do not do....there is no try. This is becomming nothing more than a half-hearted, half azed attempt to make it look like they are trying to do something.

They got nothing but a chain link fence around the White House and you don't see 20 million people crossing it or camping on it's grounds. Try and cut through that fence and see what happens. Have a mob there and see how many boots and guns are on the ground protecting it......planes and helicopters working as well. God forbid you drop a lunch bag and watch action take place. They could protect the border too......they apparently don't want to.

They're doing all they can that won't work so that they can say how ineffective a fence will be. It's more Bush smoke and mirrors.
