    Upset parent in LASD

Saw this story and thought it was well worth posting for more people to read. LA is so gone.

    http://www.saveourstate.org/forums/inde ... opic=15760

I have a very serious situation that may not be exclusive to my family.
I feel like everyone needs to know about what is going on.

My stepson started 11th grade yesterday at North Hollywood High. He is
required, as all juniors are, to take U.S. History. The first thing
    the
teacher, Marcos Ortega, did was pull down a map of the United States
    with
the southwest blacked out. He proceeds to say to the class, "This is
    mine.
You took this from us. America is passing immigration laws to keep us
    out
because you're scared of us and you should be. We're coming to take it
back." My stepson also told his father that Mr. Ortega said "I am not
    an
American," and "We should rise up," and was waving his fist in the air.
    Mr.
Ortega also told the class "Americans are afraid. They should be
    afraid." He
also had the word "MEXICANTS" written on the blackboard and went on
    about
how he's ashamed of his people that come here and work at McDonald's
    and
other minimum wage jobs. He explained that he thinks they should be
    fighting
to get what was taken from them, their land. It went on. My stepson
    said
the class was silent and dumfounded.

When my husband picked up his son from school, he was outraged, of
    course,
after being told this story. He called the school from his cell, and
    was
told all the counselors were gone. (This is right after school.) He
finally got the principal, Robert Delling, on the phone and told him
    that he
was outraged at what his son was being taught in school. My husband
    was
emphatic and upset, but not yelling or abusive. The Mr. Delling
    advised him
that he'd better lower his voice or he would hang up. Mr. Delling told
    my
husband that Mr. Ortega has "academic freedom." My husband, obviously,
    was
livid. The principal HUNG UP ON HIM. I repeat, HUNG UP ON HIM.

This morning, my husband went in to see the principal personally. My
husband stated his case, and his outrage. Obviously, he's not going to
start a scene, but was emphatic. The principal immediately told him
    that he
needed to lower his voice or he would call the police and have him
    arrested,
and specifically, "cuffed and taken away." Principal Delling told my
husband, "I have two witnesses who can back up my story" (that he was
yelling.) My husband said he would love to talk to these people, too.
    The
Mr. Delling said he would "look into it" and "talk to the teacher."
    Yeah,
not very convincing. My husband asked him what would be done if a white
teacher were teaching Aryan philosophy and white supremacy. Needless
    to
say, the only thing that came out of this meeting is that my stepson
    would
be placed in a different class.

On a side note, we repeatedly heard stories last year about my
    stepson's
Asian-American biology teacher telling the students that Americans are
"stupid" and he was going to leave this country to go teach in China,
    along
with an entire semester other anti-American statements.

I am completely outraged. Completely and totally outraged. This is
    where
your tax dollars are going, my friends. This is the Los Angeles
    Unified
School District. They can hire teachers to teach racist propaganda and
    call
    it "academic freedom."

I don't even want to go here, but I'm sure this will come up. Of
    course, it
will be easy for anyone to call me a racist for feeling this way. This
    is
where people go in a situation such as this. This is a cop out.
    ANYONE who
knows me knows that I am absolutely no racist. I have no problem with
people of any race or color. None. I do have a serious problem with
    what
is being taught to my stepson, and would have that same problem if it
    were a
situation with someone who was white and teaching white supremacy. I
    have a
problem with extremists spouting propaganda, whatever their race or
    color.

What do we do? Mr. Delling, the principal, obviously will do nothing.
    Do
you actually think that Roy Romer (LAUSD superintendent), when I call
    and
write, will do anything? Will he even actually receive my messages and
    mail?
The only way that I even have a chance to make a difference is by
    spreading
the word to as many people as I know, and to the media.

If you are as outraged, or even concerned, as I am, I urge you to
    forward
this email to everyone you know, or better yet, ask your kids what
    they're
learning in school, talk to your principals, get involved with the PTA
    and
familiarize yourself with your childrens' curriculum. We cannot stand
    by
and allow ANY SORT OF PROPAGANDA, especially ANTI-AMERICAN PROPAGANDA,
    to be
taught in our schools. It's one thing to encourage lively debate in
    high
school classes about current events and political issues, it is another
thing altogether for an instructor to intimidate and/or indoctrinate
    his/her
students to their way of thinking, and deny students the opportunity to
    make
    up their own minds!

You might want to try calling in to one of the popular talk shows when they take calls. They might get you some answers and might even make people aware of what is going on in our schools. Who knows they might even call the principle and get his side of the story. Which of course he will lie no doubt they always do. Try Roleye James, Shawn Hennesy, Bill O Riely any Radio or talk show will do just to get someone to listen! Good-Luck!

We need a picture of that map first and foremost. On top of that, audio of this teacher would help.

If you click on the link I put above more of the story is there but the last the parent put was:

    1. My son's been removed, at my request, from that class.
    2. I got a call from some administrator who listened to my story then told me to write a letter of complaint. In other words, blahblahblah.
3.We've had inquiries from John Zeigler, Bill Handle, and , I believe, Jon and Ken. Also, I have a buddy who knows Larry Elder. He talked to him. Haven't heard anything about that yet
    4. I'm not sure I want to do anything too visible until I get my kid out of that school.

    I'll keep you guys posted.
Once again, thanks for the support
The idea of a tape was also suggested but since her son is not in the class anymore that would be hard to do.

Man, I'd like to be a fly on the wall of that history classroom.

I would be showing up at the next school board meeting. If that got me nowhere, I would hire a lawyer and sue the school.

Have to agree with William, getting pictures and audio of this nut in action.

Then go after him with all they have got. Make a public spectacle of him and all that he and is radical friends believe in, not only would they be helping other students out, but waking up millions of Americans.

Well fortunately I know what my children are learning since I am their teacher. My husband and I just see no other way to educate our children. We refuse to put them in these so called schools.

If my children were in the schools and this happened I would pull the child out of that school immediately. I would then be telling this story from the rooftops to any and all that would listen.

The indoctrination of our children must be stopped and parents are going to have to take this up and demand that things change.

dlm, that is right, it has become publicly paid indoctrination camps, nothing more.

In the schools up here, we have little problem with radical teachers, yet, but we do have PC teachers and school staff and the refuse to discipline the kids fairly, not based on race. They have been showing the Latino kids special favoritism when it comes to discipline over American kids since my 23 year old was in junior high. She complained about it constantly. Our last experience with it was with our 13 year old when he was in fifth grade, our younger two have not been in public schools since.

They do little learning and a lot of nothing in the schools now. I have noticed with homeshooling, my kids are in constant learning mode, even in the summer when we went on little trips into the mountains. We learned about geography, history, biology and math. They just do not get that in the public schools.

Sorry situation we are in with out education system. Too bad we cannot go back to one room schoolhouses, but I know our population is too high now for that.

    I'm so glad I don't have kids!!!

He also had the word "MEXICANTS" written on the blackboard and went on about how he's ashamed of his people that come here and work at McDonald's and other minimum wage jobs. He explained that he thinks they should be fighting to get what was taken from them, their land.
So what are we gonna do? Let em perform brain surgery???

What GOOD would the land have done them if they'd never "lost" it to the U.S.? It just means that Mexico would have more room for poor peasants.
Calderon was absolutely right when he said...."Where there is a Mexican, there is Mexico".
