U.S. Border Patrol agents from the Rio Grande Valley Sector seized more than $2 million worth of methamphetamine Tuesday morning.

Agents at the Kingsville Border Patrol Station found about 65 pounds of the synthetic drug after a K-9 alerted agents to an air brake cylinder on a tractor-trailer. Upon further inspection, agents discovered that the cylinder had been modified to conceal the narcotics.

The methamphetamine was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration for further investigation and the driver was apprehended.
