Mexico’s Interior Minster Olga Sánchez Cordero sounded the alarm Wednesday about a new caravan, dubbed “Caravana Madre” (Mother of All Caravans), forming in Honduras that could swell to 20,000 migrants trying to enter the United States after crossing Mexico. Mexico will reportedly change its visa policy to try keep migrants from traveling north through the country, but will not militarize the border to stop the migrants.

Mexico is preparing to face the problem of mass migration, before the so-called “Caravan Mother”, which is being formed in Honduras with a contingent that is estimated could reach more than 20,000 people.
The Secretary of the Interior, Olga Sánchez Cordero, explained the above in the framework of the XXXII National Legal and Fiscal Consultation for Churches and Religious Associations, organized by the National Confraternity of Evangelical Christian Churches (Cofraternice).
In an interview with the media, the federal official explained that this was one of the central issues that she addressed in her meeting with the Secretary of National Security of the United States, Kisrstjen Nielsen.
…Currently, it is known that at least 2,400 people have joined a new caravan and that in Honduras they are preparing for what they have called the “Caravan Mother”, with 20,000 migrants.
If this situation continues, Sánchez Cordero explained, at the end of the year there would be close to 900,000 migrants crossing to the United States, which represents a complex situation for Mexico because it is a transit country.
ABC Noticias reported Sánchez Cordero is asking countries in the Northern Triangle–Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador– to stop the caravan (via translation.)
The Secretary of the Interior, Olga Sanchez Cordero, warned that a “Mother Caravan” is being organized in Honduras and therefore demanded that the governments of the so-called Northern Triangle do their part to stop this movement.
TV Aztecas Noticias reported (via translation) the government will not militarize the border.
Meanwhile, our country will create containment actions in the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, with facilities of the Federal Police, Civil Protection and other government agencies; and grant temporary permits for visitors and work in the southeast of the country.
Sánchez Cordero reiterated that Mexico will not militarize the southern border; but neither will it continue to grant massive humanitarian visas; detailed that the entry of migrants should be ordered and there will be background checks on each of them.
Meanwhile, even without the mother of all caravans, the U.S. southern border is being overrun by tens of thousands of migrants every month such that Border Patrol is reporting they are now at the breaking point.

With our open border with Mexico and welcoming arms that await the invading foreign citizens who are pouring across, foreign governments will be happy to empty their countries of large numbers of people to relieve tensions and problems. They will rejoice at the millions or billions in remittances to follow. People, problems, criminals, out, money in.

In my opinion it is impossible to undo the damage. Too many children here and coming.

We will reap what we have permitted to be sown. The numbers now here are too large. Reportedly, one to four million more to come within a year.

We can stop the flow but will we with all of the efforts against it.

    Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Congress needs to vote to stop this today!

No one can enter without prior approval, in their home country.

Send a convoy of buses and send them back.

We can load thousands on barges and let the Coast Guard ship them back to Central America.

SIGN AN EXECUTIVE ORDER TO PUT A PAUSE ON ALL ASYLUM, REFUGEE, TPS PROGRAMS...WE HAVE HAD IT!!!

'Mother Of All Caravans' Forming In Honduras - Up To 20,000 Hope To Cross US Border: Report

"The journey of any migrant -- especially at the hands of a smuggler or trafficker -- is not a safe one"

Mexico is bracing for the "mother of all caravans," after Interior Secretary Olga Sánchez Cordero warned on Wednesday "We have information that a new caravan is forming in Honduras, that they’re calling ‘the mother of all caravans,’ and they are thinking it could have more than 20,000 people."

The figure has been disputed by activists such as Irineo Mujica of group Pueblo Sin Fronteras, who has accompanied several caravans in Mexico and said in a statement that "there has never been a caravan of the size that Sanchez Cordero mentioned."

    Olga Sánchez Cordero

According to AP, past caravans have hit "very serious logistical hurdles at 7,000 - strong."
Honduran activist Bartolo Fuentes, who accompanied a large caravan last year, dismissed the new reports as “part of the U.S. government’s plans, something made up to justify their actions.”
Later Thursday, Honduras’ deputy foreign minister, Nelly Jerez, denied that a “mother of all caravans” was forming in her country.
“There is no indication of such a caravan,” Jerez said. “This type of information promotes that people leave the country.” -AP
Sánchez Cordero made the comments alongside US Secretary of Homeland Security earlier this week in Miami, Florida.
Meanwhile, around 2,500 Central Americans and Cubans are currently making their way through Mexico's southern state of Chipas right now in yet another caravan. Last year's caravans contained up to 10,000 people at some points.
Mexico's tolerance for the caravans is wearing thin it seems, as they have stopped giving migrants humanitarian visas at the border, while some previously hospitable towns along the well-traveled route are have stopped allowing caravans to spend the night.
Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Thursday that Mexico is doing its part to fight immigrant smuggling.
“We are going to do everything we can to help. We don’t in any way want a confrontation with the U.S. government,” he said. “It is legitimate that they are displeased and they voice these concerns.”
Sanchez Cordero has pledged to form a police line of “containment” around Mexico’s narrow Tehuantepec Isthmus to stop migrants from continuing north to the U.S. border.
The containment belt would consist of federal police and immigration agents, but such highway blockades and checkpoints have not stopped large and determined groups of migrants in the past. -AP
    System-wide meltdown
In a Thursday letter to the House and Senate, Homeland Secretary Nielsen made an "urgent request" for assistance to stop what she described as a tide of migrants overwhelming the border, according to CBS News.
"DHS facilities are overflowing, agents and officers are stretched too thin, and the magnitude of arriving and detained aliens has increased the risk of life-threatening incidents," wrote Nielsen - citing the increasing number of migrants arriving each month in large groups.
Nielsen wrote that her "greatest concern was for the children," as Customs and Border Protection currently has over 1,200 unaccompanied children in custody. The Trump administration has been widely criticized for earlier policies towards migrant children, such as separating families and keeping minors in poorly equipped detention facilities.
Nielsen also asked for more detention facilities in her letter, a point of disagreement which nearly led to a second shutdown this year. Democrats have reasoned that capping Immigration and Customs Enforcement's detention beds would force the administration to narrow its ramped-up deportation efforts.
Nielsen said that the Department of Health and Human Services would require more emergency resources such as medical and legal assistance to handle the influx of children. She also asked that Congress grant more authority to DHS to return unaccompanied migrant children from Central America to their countries, saying that putting these minors in the custody of sponsors in the U.S. becomes a "pull" factor for more migrants to make the trip north. -CBS News
"Let me be clear: the journey of any migrant -- especially at the hands of a smuggler or trafficker -- is not a safe one," reads the letter. "We must be able to come together on a bipartisan basis to take action."

Caravan of 40 Salvadoran migrants sets out for US border

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador – The "mother of all caravans" expected to depart from Central America looks more like the baby of all caravans.

A group of about 40 migrants was leaving Saturday for the U.S. from the capital of El Salvador.

It was not immediately clear whether they were planning to meet up with other migrants from Guatemala and Honduras, but the Honduran government has denied there's another mass migration from its country.

Mexican Interior Secretary Olga Sanchez Cordero said earlier in the week that a caravan of migrants from Central America could be forming with more than 20,000 people.

The U.S. state department has cut aid to El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala, and President Donald Trump accused their leaders of doing "nothing" to prevent illegal immigration to the United States.

“The mother of all caravans” is forming in Honduras... I would say probably unlikely to arrive in Tijuana in full 20,000 number. However, a caravan of about 2,000 could be here as early as next week, sources confirmed Friday:

The "mother of all migrant caravans" — with more than 20,000 people — could be headed toward the United States, the New York Post reported, citing Mexico's Interior Secretary Olga Sanchez Cordero.
"We have information that a new caravan is forming in Honduras that they're calling 'the mother of all caravans,' and they are thinking it could have more than 20,000 people," she said Wednesday, the paper reported.
Migrants from Honduras as well as El Salvador and Guatemala are reportedly taking part in the caravan, the Post said.

What does an official from Honduras have to say?

Honduras' Deputy Foreign Minister Nelly Jerez said, "There is no indication of such a caravan" forming in his country, the paper reported.
What does President Trump have to say?

President Donald Trump blasted Mexico in a Thursday tweet over the flow of illegal immigrants into the U.S. and threatened to close the southern border:

Mexico is doing NOTHING to help stop the flow of illegal immigrants to our Country. They are all talk and no action. Likewise, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador have taken our money for years, and do Nothing. The Dems don’t care, such BAD laws. May close the Southern Border!

What else did Mexican officials say?

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Thursday his country is doing its part, the Post reported.
"We are going to do everything we can to help," he said, according to the paper. "We don't in any way want a confrontation with the U.S. government. It is legitimate that they are displeased, and they voice these concerns."
Interior Secretary Cordero said Mexico would provide a "containment" line of federal police and immigration agents to stop caravans from coming to the U.S., the Post said.
Reuters reported that a separate caravan of 1,200 migrants from Central America and Cuba began moving toward the U.S. border from southern Mexico last weekend. The Post reported its size as about 2,500.

Mexico is doing everything they can do to "help" alright.

Helping by giving them the passes to enter Mexico by the thousands.

Helping to "police escort" the taxis, semis and trucks loaded up with them.

Helping to move them right through their cities and towns as quickly as they can is exactly what they are doing!

They do not want them and the USA does not want them.

Deport them all right back over the FIRST border they illegally crossed from...be it Canada or Mexico...or on a flight from who knows where! Just get them out and keep them out, including their UAC's. We are not your baby daddy!

Helping to FUND the buses to deliver them right to our doorstep!
