I am still working on this list, but I am going to need help in order for William to have this information by Thursday. So far I have the following:

    Spencer Abraham
    Andy Ammons
    Justus "Judd" Ammons
    A. Scott Anderson
    Brad Bailey
    John Barnes
    Lisa Barnes
    Frank Baxter
    Mike Birck
    Boysie Bollinger
    Norman Braman

There is a lot of information on these people to pick through, and it is time consuming. If anyone can jump in and help it would be appreciated.

I was done with the GOP after the convention in Tampa. The GOP's dispicable behavior at county and state conventions continued on to the National Convention in Tampa. There is video evidence that supports a lot of what when on and anyone can watch them.

What makes you think that I voted for ANYONE just because they had an R beside their name?! And yes, Democrats and Republicans in Washington are mostly 2 sides of the same coin. BUT, there is not a third party out there that the media will allow an equal, or anywhere close to equal, chance against the big 2. There are many republicans who are NOT happy with the way the party is being run, and I, as well as others, have been fighting the GOP establishment to try to bring it into line with the grassroots. We are making progress but it is slow going. Personally, I pray the Dems don't get control of the House because we can kiss America good-bye if that happens! We really need term limits and tough laws and limits against the lobbying $$$ that sways so many. And why does the GOP need to be dealt a "hard blow" and not the Dems? There are GOP Congress members out there fighting for what is right, not a lot of them to be sure, but we're getting there. Just a few more votes and Justin Amash's amendment to stop the Govt from collecting all our data would have passed!

Thankfully, there are republicans in my state who were in Tampa and who are attending RNC meetings and pushing to get these stupid rules changes undone. Our state chairman will be taking a resolution passed by our state party to the next RNC meeting in Boston (State chairs are members of the Committee).

These are long, but as I was reading them it was apparent to me to be very clear who these people are.

Justus "Judd" Ammons, CEO and President, Ammons Mountain Properties
    Call Toll Free: (866) 689-7525
(82 689-5555 822 Crooked Creek Road Mars Hill, NC 28754
Residential land developer, Asheville, NC, and author of Don't Wish You Had,Be Glad You Did -- a book of my life's lessons told in short stories.
    Mars Hill, North Carolina

    About the Developer
Born in the mountains, Justus "Jud" Ammons has been building and developing for more than 40 years.
Jud Ammons has developed golf courses, retirement and residential communities and commercial properties from the North Carolina coast to the mountains. Mountain Traditions is Jud’s newest community just minutes from downtown Mars Hill where he was born and where his family still has deep roots.
Jud’s way of developing is not to leave anything to chance. That is why Mountain Traditions is a debt free community
assuring owners that everything will be finished.
His vision for Mountain Traditions is to create an environmentally friendly community where privacy, convenience and comfortable living are experienced. His focus is to preserve the natural beauty and encourage a slower pace of life
where you can enjoy family, friends and making memories.
Jud has received numerous building, conservation and beautification awards over the years. But his family is the most important thing to him (though some might argue that his prize-winning beagles run a close second!). His greatest source of pride is that all four of his children have achieved success in their own right and, in the process, invest themselves in a tradition of service to others.

    Justus "Jud" Ammons
Jud Ammons grew up on a farm in the North Carolina mountains, where his work sharecropping and plowing gardens showed early signs of the entrepreneur he would become. At NC State University, he worked his way through building models for the NC State Fair and School of Engineering, and doing odd jobs including starting a laundry pickup business. His senior year he worked 40 hours a week as an engineer for the State of North Carolina. Extra-curricular activities included Student Council, membership in AZ honorary fraternity, and presidency of FarmHouse Fraternity.

After graduation, he served in the US Air Force, then worked as a department head with CP&L. However, when he stepped out on his own to start Ammons Construction Company, Ammons set his foot on a path that would change the face of Raleigh, and enrich the quality of communities far and wide.
Since that day, he has built, owned and operated major subdivisions, day care facilities, golf course communities, industrial parks and shopping centers across North Carolina. In every case, he has gone above and beyond to create quality communities, always guided by his motto: "Let it be pretty."

A savvy businessman, Ammons was driven by his desire to meet the needs of the people of Raleigh. His work on the City Task Force inspired him to build Eagle Chase Subdivision to provide attractive, affordable housing and recreational amenities in Southeast Raleigh. To increase investment and jobs, he developed EastPark, one of the largest industrial, business and office parks in the Triangle.
Encouraged by seniors in his church, Ammons developed Springmoor Retirement Community, and has managed it for over twenty years. Springmoor is an integral part of Greystone, where Ammons pioneered the concept of a planned urban development incorporating amenities that allow residents to live, work, play, worship, and go to school in a cohesive community.
Jud’s happiest days are spent with his four children and thirteen grandchildren. His hobbies include NASCAR events, raising champion beagles and attending NCSU sporting events.

Ammons has served his profession as president and board member of the Raleigh-Wake County Home Builders Association, and as director of the National Association of Home Builders. His community service includes leadership on the County Planning Commission, Raleigh Greenway Commission, and Raleigh Bicentennial Commission. He is a founder of Greystone Baptist Church and has served as deacon, Sunday School teacher and trustee. He has served on several legislative study commissions, as a member of the volunteer fire department, and a trustee of Mars Hill College.

A generous philanthropist, Jud and his wife Jo Ellen are benefactors of Mars Hill College, Meredith College, NC State University, the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and numerous other charities. He is active in the Wolfpack Club, and is an alumni leader of FarmHouse Fraternity.
Jud chronicled his life in the book entitled "Don’t Wish You Had, Be Glad You Did," sharing his insights and his belief that dreaming, going for broke and taking risks will lead to a rewarding life. In Jud Ammons’ case, his dreams and risks have enhanced the lives of countless Raleigh citizens.

    John C Barnes

Growing up on the rapidly expanding Barnes Farming operation, John, Carson and Maxine’s son, learned alot about farming and running a packing house. In addition to working in tobacco, sweet potato, and pickling cucumber fields, John (at age 10) worked on the packing line, making, filling, and stacking boxes of produce.
While enrolled at nearby Southern Nash High School, John served as a student government representative and as junior class and FFA chapter president.
After graduation, John enrolled at North Carolina State University, where he majored in Agricultural Economics. Even while in college, John worked weekends and summers at home on the farm, overseeing the pickling cucumber operation the entire time. Upon graduating from NC State in 1987, John came back to the farm and has gradually learned the rest of the business. Now, he has taken over the day-to-day responsibilities for both the farming and packing house operations. In doing so, he oversees the work of 275 full-time employees and upwards of 600 seasonal labor workers.

    Chairman & CEO
Spencer Abraham is Chairman and CEO of The Abraham Group, an international strategic consulting firm based in Washington, DC.

After being nominated by President-elect George W. Bush, Spencer Abraham was sworn in as the tenth Secretary of Energy in United States history on January 20, 2001. He began his tenure in the midst of a severe energy crisis that included the California blackouts, declining domestic energy supplies and insufficient international energy trade opportunities. In response, he helped President Bush devise America's first national energy plan in over a decade and oversaw its implementation. As part of this plan, he led efforts to broaden America's international energy partnerships, working with China, Japan, Russia, the E.U., countries in South America and Africa and certain OPEC nations. Secretary Abraham has been a close observer of world energy markets, and under his leadership the Department of Energy conducted a number of short and long-term studies of world oil, gas, electricity and other markets. Domestically, he spearheaded the department's high-tech efforts in the areas of hydrogen fuel cell research and the development and expansion of clean coal technology programs, and provided a strong voice for the reemergence of safe nuclear power. According to the Presidential Management Agenda scorecard, the Department of Energy went from "worst to first" of well-run agencies under Secretary Abraham's leadership.

When he announced his resignation at the end of President's first term, The Washington Times sang Abraham's praises, writing that he "inherited a large and unwieldy agency in post-Cold War drift. He bequeaths [his successor] something much better. Mr. Abraham led his agency with distinction and high integrity." Faced almost immediately with the energy and safety issues of the post 9/11 world, Secretary Abraham distinguished himself by revitalizing and refocusing the Department of Energy on the new homeland security challenges our country faced. Abraham saw to the safety of America's nuclear stockpiles while he played a key international role by dramatically expanding the Department's focus on nuclear nonproliferation programs, negotiating with Russia and other former Soviet states. He created new safeguarding plans that the Washington Post called "great gifts to the nation from Abraham."

Prior to being named Secretary of Energy, Abraham served as an effective and highly productive U.S. Senator from Michigan for six years, where he was the author of 22 pieces of legislation signed into law - an unprecedented accomplishment for a freshman senator. He also chaired two subcommittees: Manufacturing and Competitiveness and Immigration. Always on the cutting edge, he became a leading advocate for technological issues and was one of the first politicians to recognize the importance of establishing a relationship with Silicon Valley's technological entrepreneurs and business leaders. He authored three particularly ground-breaking pieces of technology legislation: the Electronic Signature in Global and National Commerce Act, the Government Paperwork and Elimination Act, and the Anti-Cybersquatting Consumer Protection Act. All three were landmarks in the governance of cyberspace and the use of important new technology. A strong supporter of the business community, Abraham consistently endorsed policies that enhanced America's competitiveness and global leadership.

Abraham is also Non-Executive Chairman of AREVA, Inc and a member of the Board of Directors of Occidental Petroleum. In addition, he is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, and a periodic contributor of op-ed articles to the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Weekly Standard and other publications as well as frequently appears as a guest commentator on Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNBC and Bloomberg.

Spencer Abraham and his wife, Jane, are the parents of three children. He holds a law degree from Harvard University, where he co-founded the Federalist Society, and is a native of East Lansing, Michigan.

Having served in the President's Cabinet as Secretary of Energy and as a former United States Senator, Secretary Abraham can provide private sector clients with valuable strategic advice and assistance in the nation's capitol. In the Senate, he served on the Judiciary, Commerce and Budget Committees, and chaired the Subcommittees on Immigration and Manufacturing & Competitiveness. Secretary Abraham brings to clients his insight of nearly two decades at the highest levels of domestic and international policy and politics
