    105 Million to U.S. Population by 2060

    By Jeffrey Thomas

    By SOP newswire

Washington – Since the founding of the United States, its population has been growing at a rate that some scientists say is unprecedented in human history. Some believe that this population explosion made the United States one of the most prosperous countries of the world, but others point to congestion, urban sprawl, traffic, pollution, loss of open spaces and the increase in greenhouse gas emissions as negative effects of rapid population growth.

A new report projects that current levels of immigration will add 105 million to the U.S. population by 2060, while having little effect on the rise in the median age in the U.S population.

The report, 100 Million More: Projecting the Impact of Immigration on the U.S. Population, 2007 to 2060, was prepared by Steven Camarota, director of research at the Center for Immigration Studies, an independent research institute. Camarota based his projections on U.S. Census Bureau data and Census Bureau assumptions about future birth and death rates.

According to the report, about 1.6 million legal and illegal immigrants settle in the country and 350,000 people leave the United States each year, resulting in a net immigration of 1.25 million. If immigration continues at current levels, the nation’s population will increase from 301 million today to 468 million in 2060 -- a 167 million (or 56 percent) increase. Future immigrants and their descendants will account for 105 million (or 63 percent) of the increase.

Net immigration into the United States has been increasing for five decades. If that trend continues, the report predicts the increase caused by immigration will be higher than the projected 105 million.

The report shows that even immigration has a very large impact on the size of the nation's population, it has only a small effect in slowing the aging of American society. Some proponents of immigration have argued large numbers of immigrants are necessary to forestall the aging of society and a consequent imbalance between workers and retirees.

According to the report, most of the projected population increase will come from legal immigration. Illegal immigration will add 37.9 million to the U.S. population by 2060, given current trends, and legal immigration will add 67.4 million, Camarota found.

Camarota said that he believes the central question raised by his projections “is what costs and benefits come with having a much larger population and a more densely settled country.â€

    Massive Immigration

Massive Immigration will only help overpopulate the Earth much faster. It takes pressure off the 3rd world nations to control their own populations (hence allowing increased population growth there) while overpopulating nations that are having slow sustainable growth. It is a lose lose situation all around and will only hasten the overpopulation problem...So foolish

This purposeless excessive population growth through immigration, legal and illegal, is one of the greatest threats to our liberty, prosperity, solvency, sustainability and sovereignty.

The federal government will spend over $150 billion in 2011 on food stamps and free school meal programs alone because we have more people than jobs who have more kids than money so the government that caused that problem robs the plates, tables and lunch boxes of the other 40% who still have a job and who wisely didn't have more kids than they could feed.

Excessive immigration has turned our country from the shining light on the hill to the world's largest banana republic and done so in less than a decade.

If we don't stop this disaster dead in its tracks and reverse this problem as rapidly as possible, there will not be enough food, water or fuel to sustain anyone and our streets, alleys, lobbies, parks and fields will be filled with people who have no homes, ho money, no jobs and absolutely no prospect for any.

That's not a "conspiracy theory" or a "dooms day prediction" either. It's just a simple mathematical certainty.

And who is responsible for that? Pro-immigration supporters, Pro-life advocates, Pro-Free Trade Traitors, and the Pro-Mandated Tax lobby.

If you're one of these, thee needs to build a bunker and be prepared to run to it. Americans are fed up to the gills with the policies and advocacies that have destroyed our nation. And this time, like the French, no one will want to take prisoners.

Umm.... what Census and statistics are they using in their numbers?

Looking at realistic numbers the US has aprox 1.4 million illegals entering a year and 1.2 million legal immigrants. The children born to illegals every year is about 400k right now so lets just call it 3 million as wel leave out children to legal immigrants... after all they are legal. These statistics are only those who immigrate to stay and not temporary workers or timeframe visa's. But for nice sake we won't count them either of course as they should all leave. These also don't count towards those deported either as most agree they are back fairly soon for the vast majority.

    So 3 million x 50 years... thats 150 million not 105.

But hold on a minute. Ilegals are constantly increasing their numbers and if we don't halt it soon or give any form of amnesty we will be flooded by far more. However lets just assume a smaller rate of increase every year. Maybe only 5% increase every year... nothing big there. That just adds another 4 million ontop for the illegals as a guestimate off very nice low numbers.

But even more so every legal increase legal immigration exponentially. Each legals petition for 5 family members, sitting today at 1.2 million and calculating 5 years before those can petition their own bunch on a 7 year waiting list (sooner if spouse or child). Doing the math is scary. Figuring in that out is fairly complex but can easily see how it comes about by just looking at NumbersUSA charts, its how they have come to their conclusions which are mathmatically sound +/- 5-10% overall.
