DOD Orders Deployment of Troops to Texas-Mexico Border

BROWNSVILLE – The Department of Defense will be deploying thousands of troops along the U.S.-Mexico border starting this week.

According to a letter sent to various U.S. representatives, approximately 5,200 troops will be sent by or about Nov. 5 to provide assistance to law enforcement amid the arrival of a caravan of people expected to seek asylum in the country.

Among this group will be active and reserve National Guard troops to aid Customs and Border Protection in securing the border.

Angela Tapia, special assistant to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, says they will help in the planning and engineering of these efforts and will also be offering medical and aviation assistance.

Judy, there will be numerous media outlets, leakers, Obama holdovers within the administration, activists, all tracking and following the military as they take their positions on the border.

Pray for all involved.

That was announced at the press conference today by DOD.

Newsweek reviewed the operational documents for Operation Faithful Patriot. The documents are marked, “UNCLASSIFIED, FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY, LES,” meaning, law enforcement sensitive.
