A man tried to smuggle nearly 200 pounds of marijuana in his Chevrolet pickup truck into the U.S. on Tuesday, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said.
Officers arrested the 33-year-old permanent resident alien after he attempted to cross the border in San Luis, Ariz. A CBP officer screening travelers became suspicious after noticing discrepancies with the vehicle and escorted the driver in for a full inspection, authorities said.
With the help of a narcotic detector dog, officers discovered 168 packages of marijuana weighing 189 pounds hidden within the truck bed, officers said. The estimated street value of the marijuana is more than $302,000.
The man was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for further investigation and prosecution, officials said.

That is a deport-able crime. IF he is convicted and deported he won't be able to come back in legally.
