    Activists protest Senator Trent Lott

    June 18, 2007 03:20 PM PDT

A grassroots organization made up of over 400 activists is calling for Senator Trent Lott to reconsider his support for an amnesty immigration bill.

The group is known as Numbers USA and is running an ad on the internet and on several television stations throughout the state. Organizers urge Mississippians to log onto the website to sign a petition that will be presented to Senator Trent Lott's office in Jackson Tuesday morning.
