    An immigration enforcement agent from Tucson has been indicted on charges of harboring an illegal immigrant whom he married a few months ago.

    Ramon M. Sanchez Jr., 41, was charged with harboring the woman since their marriage Feb. 25 until his arrest April 11, a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

    Sanchez told officials he knew that the woman was a Mexican citizen and was in the county illegally as early as November 2004.

    Sanchez is not in federal custody. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
