Agents find 50 illegal immigrants in tractor-trailer
© 2007 The Associated Press
FALFURRIAS, Texas — Federal agents working an inland checkpoint found 50 illegal immigrants locked inside a tractor trailer, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Wednesday.
The immigrants were found Tuesday. None required medical attention, though agents said the trailer was not air-conditioned and many were sweating. All were being processed for deportation.
The driver and passenger in the truck's cab were arrested and charged with alien smuggling. There identities were withheld pending further investigation.

I guess I can't figure this stuff out.
Mexicans pretty much know how hot it is here in TExas, AZ, etc.
I can't imagine letting someone shut me up inside a truck trailer - anytime. I do think if I had - just had - to make the trek, I would wait until cooler weather.
Maybe this is the way the Mexican government transports the criminals here. Nothing short of a gun would get me in one of them in August .Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

This is the second time in the last couple weeks, now just what do they think is going to happen when they let these trucks roll freely into the U.S. border and inspecting only 1 per cent of the cargo
My Gawd how can they be so out of touch with the rest of the country!!!

They are not out of touch. They know what the people want - and need. They know what is right. They have an agenda. I think they are all bought and paid for - and I fear the agenda may be a little behind schedule. Either that or they are concerned the people might actually do something - like take control of their own lives. This may be making them rev it up a little. They are just too blantant - too 'shut up and take it' - I don't know.
