    AgJobs Bill

Those desperate farmers were not running advertisements in the news papers looking for labor. This is a scam.

We don't need to allow seasonal workers in with their wives so they can have anchor babies. So they going to work half the year and live on unemployment for the rest? Make them Americans and they get all the benefits. This is foolish!

This is Amnesty for the whole family.

AgJobs; Immigration Amnesty - Senator Craig, ID

While not having any success, I have been writing to Senator Craig, R-ID, regarding his very liberal position on the Border Invaders. To his "credit", he responds, politely explaing that he is not going to waver on the Invaders. He has his back covered by special interests in agriculture as well as financial - Chamber of Commerce. Wonder where we can find someone to go to Congress to do the right thing?

My next letters will be to the various newspapers in the state. Wonder if enough of us give a hoot to make a differnce? Will the new Senator from Idaho require adherence to the constitution?

    Welcome Al_Idaho!!!

I'm from Idaho and Craig is trouble. He's stuck to his guns so far.

It is amnesty. The House and Senate Bills are identical. I know the articles are saying only people with 'blue cards' get to stay and there is a cap at 1.5 million but I sure didn't see that in the bill. It didn't say no chain migration and they do get citizenship down the road and they are illegals already in the country!

I certainly like to see evidence to substantiate that claim! I doubted Sen. McCain when he said the farmers couldn't get anyone to pick lettuce for $25 an hour and I doubt the above claim!
    Exactly, MW!

If this were the case, then why are SO MANY on WELFARE and Assistance?

I've been sending this out today. The AG Jobs is the shoehorn for s. 9 and similar imho. We must not allow the AG Job concepts to be voted into place.

Thanks for your reply to my concerns about AG Jobs bills.

I must say that I am surprised that a conservative could become a part of supporting this AG Jobs push. You said that H-2A is critical to provide labor to farmers. This labor would be selected from criminal aliens residing in my community. I'm unsympathetic to supplying farms with criminal aliens that violated my country's sovereignty.

We have had open borders for over a decade. This has resulted in anywhere from 12 to 30 million illegal aliens in this country. Yet, farm employers are still complaining there are no workers in the fields, crops are rotting, cry, cry. The fact is that illegal aliens don't want to do these hard low paying jobs. They use them as entry vehicles and go on to other jobs after they're introduced to the social support network.

I'm having trouble accepting that any farmers are complying with H-2A requirements, nor do I believe that they will ever implement this as long as our border is open and law enforcement ignores their crimes. Is there a list of farms in compliance with H-2A? Farm lobbies are clearly for open borders, support criminal farm employers, counsel farmers on ways to circumvent the law, and negotiate "wink and nod" agreements with government agencies. Farm employers have proven that they're enemies of the American taxpayers. They steal profit on non-viable operations by shifting the costs of workers onto citizens through socialist programs and unfair laws requiring healthcare and schooling. Farmers and their paid organizations have demonstrated that they are organized crime and not deserving of your support. Stop supporting dead horse operations and profiteers of government largesse then expecting me to believe it's necessary for getting cheap lettuce. How about recognizing the burden American citizens face having criminal aliens among us?

What is the plan to put an end to the anchor baby problem that accompanies illegal aliens in a work program? The birth costs a hospital $11,000 passed on to customers. That's a lot of lettuce and only the beginning of social costs.

    First secure the border.

Halt all immigration other than adoption.

Enforce laws against employers and illegal aliens. Deportation and attrition will lower the number of aliens.
Unemployment is not working. Deport illegal alien workers now! Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

I'm itching to get busy on this one!!! I think the wording is very vague in terms of who comes in and what if 1.5 million cap is exceeded due to the gazillion children they'll have once here? And, once they become citizens there is no stopping chain migration.
