A Coffee County grand jury recently indicted an illegal Mexican immigrant accused of killing a young couple only weeks after they were married.

Freddy De Leon Perez, 23, was indicted on two counts of felony manslaughter and a felony charge of failing to stop and remain at the scene of a June 13 accident on Highway 51 in Enterprise that resulted in the deaths of Jeremy and Angel Seay.

During an initial investigation into the fatal wreck, officers did not find evidence of another vehicle’s involvement, said Capt. Mike Lolley, public information officer for the Enterprise Police Department.

According to Lolley, Perez has had contact with law enforcement previously.

He received a traffic citation in 2007 for driving without a driver’s license.
The families of the victims should SUE!
