U.S. citizen beheaded in apparent drug hit

A former Chula Vista resident is identified as one of three men who were found decapitated this week in Tijuana.

Reporting from San Diego -- A U.S. citizen was one of the three men who were found decapitated this week in Tijuana, Mexican authorities said Friday.

The body of George Harrison, a 38-year-old former Chula Vista resident, had been dismembered and mutilated and was dumped in a vacant lot near Tijuana's beachside bullring.

Authorities said they suspected that it was an organized crime hit.

Harrison had several drug-related convictions in the United States and was suspected of drug trafficking in Mexico, Baja California Assistant Atty. General Rafael Gonzalez said.

Gonzalez said Harrison had been living in the Tijuana area since his release from a U.S. prison six months ago. He owned a pizzeria in Tijuana, from which he was abducted, Gonzalez said.

Authorities who searched Harrison's business found four weapons, including a .38-caliber handgun.

Alongside the bodies, authorities discovered a taunting narco-message similar to others left at crime scenes in the battles among rival organized crime groups.

Another of the three beheading victims was identified as Luis Garcia Aispuro, who had a criminal history in the Mexican state of Sonora, Mexican authorities said. The third man was identified as Jaime Ramos Herrera of Colima, Mexico.

These people are beyond sick and should be, upon capture, put to death after being found guilty.

I can't comprehend the sickness of this. Something wrong with just killing somebody without this other insanity?

you have got to think about how stupid this American was getting mixed up with savages for drugs. I mean what the hell did he think what would happen? But what happened to him was just pure evil!!! And our stupid homeland security chiefess is in total denial, so we all could determine that our own government wants Americans to get murdered at the hands of the enemy!

The American government probably won't say much about this because the guy was a know criminal.

Three, including U.S. citizen, decapitated in Tijuana

TIJUANA: A U.S. citizen with a drug conviction was among the three decapitated victims found Tuesday on a lot near the U.S. border fence in Tijuana, Baja California authorities said.

Jorge Natividad Norman Harrison, 38, had been caught at the border trying to smuggle prescription medication from Mexico to the United States, and subsequently moved to Tijuana, said a spokesman for the Baja California Attorney General's Office. A U.S. official confirmed yesterday that Harrison had a U.S. drug conviction.

Harrison went missing Feb. 3, when masked gunmen abducted him from the pizzeria that he owned west of downtown Tijuana, Mexican authorities said. Family members told investigators they had paid a $20,000 ransom but were never again contacted.

Investigators are looking at whether Harrison was selling prescription drugs from his business.

The other two victims were identified as Luis Horacio GarcÃ*a Aispuro, 39, a native of Sinaloa state with a criminal record in Sonora state; and Jaime Ramos Herrera, from the state of Colima. Authorities are attributing the deaths to organized crime.
