A 32 year old De Queen man was arrested December 30th after phoning in a bomb threat to the Sevier County Courthouse by using 9-1-1 and this is not the first time it has happened.

According to the Sevier County Sheriff’s office the Sevier County dispatcher received a call on 9-1-1 emergency line stating “police should not be at the hatchery, only troopers or sheriff’s, I will go to court in Washington, I have a bomb and I will blow up the courthouse in 20 minutes. I was in the Army and I know how to do it.â€

Hernandez was not aware of the fact that when you call 9-1-1 your phone number and call is both recorded for tracing purposes. Hernandez used his personal cell phone to make the 9-1-1 call.

Does anyone seriously NOT expect to be tracked down for that kind of thing in this day and age???? (Funny thing is, if the courthouse and local LE had bumped up their attention to the previous incident, they had a pretty good chance of catching him even before the 2nd call - gotta love that GPS capability for most of those newer cell phone....)
