ummm. I followed the link at save our state and the chicago tribune says this article does not exist on their site. We may not be able to use this at all.

Could be legit, but without the sourcing, it's no dice for our homepage

She does not represent the illegal immigrant movement? Seems to me that when it was all looking good on the news they had no problem. When it appeared that this would provoke sympathy they sat silent. When they used the boy to go to capital hill in itself shows they wanted the coverage.

But the end response by the American people was negative. Now they claim she did not represent the movement and denounce her.

As usual those who are for legal immigration and against illegal immigration are again accused of one name or another. This time it's bigot.

Is that what it is to want the laws enforced or to give legally applying citizens the right to become Americans first; since they wait over ten years and obeyed the laws?

To know that hospitals are closing because they cannot afford covering those that do not pay; to burden public services meant for Americans in the form of food stamps; free medical care and schooling is driving up the costs for all taxpayers. Or to know that if amnesty is given the cost will be 2.5 - 3 Trillion dollars. That is not including the extension of families that would surely follow. We cannot sustain unregulated immigration its economically foolish. We should not encourage more illegal immigrants to take advantage of our system by granting amnesty. Our children need scholarships to go to college and a seat; should they be left out now
