    Arizona agents arrest immigration activist

    Arizona agents arrest immigration activist

    Updated: Jul 12, 2013 9:17 AM PDT

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - U.S. Border Patrol agents have arrested an immigration activist for crawling under their vehicle following a traffic stop in Tucson.

Raul Alcaraz Ochoa's arrest on Thursday afternoon marked the second time he has been taken into custody for trying to impede the arrest of a man who was suspected of being in the country illegally.

Television station KVOA reports that Tucson police officers had stopped the other man for not using his turn signal.

Police spokesman Sgt. Chris Widmer says the man did not have a driver's license and officers called the Border Patrol as required by Arizona law.

It was after the agents arrived at the traffic stop that Ochoa crawled under the vehicle.

Ochoa was released Thursday night. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say he is a permanent resident.

He's a permanent resident not a Citizen. Should have a clause that allows his status to be revoked for participating in anti law activities.

Immigrants of any type including permanent residents should have no political power unless receive US Citizenship. Citizenship tests for naturalization should also include a thorough US Constitution test as well as a personal character and value test.
