There is a chain of command. If Mattis doesn't give the order, it doesn't happen. If the person Mattis gives the order to doesn't give the orders on down the line, it doesn't happen. This isn't official war, this is not a military attack, it's a domestic law enforcement issue that DOD has no interest in. Because it's not war, none of the serious matters that pertain to following orders seem to apply. It's civilian type stuff that they readily ignore every time, I've watched it for 14 years. This is nothing new. It's new to you because you're new here. We've all watched this, demanded it, howled for it, for 15 years as long I've been on this issue, 13 years of it here at ALIPAC, same call for troops to the border, same response, no troops on the border, some troops shoveling horses manure 100 miles from the border, that's all we get. I say send them home and hire some stall cleaners for $8 an hour. It was worth a try hoping maybe things under Trump with Mattis and all would be different, but Trump gets the same run-around as Obama and Bush got.

Maybe next year, he can make some changes.

Sanctions on the home countries is a much better plan every day of the week and twice on Sundays. But if you all want to wait for the military to secure the border or Congress to fund a wall, why not? You've waited 30 years, why not wait 30 more.

Yes there is a Chain of Command and Trump is at the tip -top. Mattis follows Trumps orders.

The people who drafted and ratified the Constitution believed in civilian control of the military. They invested the president, a civilian office, with the power to command the armed forces. Military officers swear to obey the president's orders and General Mattis is no exception. Furthermore, those officers under the Secretary of Defense are required to follow his lawful orders. A service member of the United States armed forces who fails to obey a general order or regulation issued by a military department or a commanding officer will be subject to charges under Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

The above needs to be repeated. I do not fault the E4's---E5's---E6's etc. not even the Base Commander for the illegals and drug smugglers having open access to the Barry Goldwater Range. They are simply following orders. This goes back to Trump and Mattis.

Trump and Mattis apparently approve of the illegals having more rights than citizens. Mothers, Fathers, wife, sons, daughters, visiting a military base are stopped and asked for ID, but these illegals carrying drugs, guns, perhaps bombs do not. Let that sink in!
