    Tucson, Ariz. - A 24-year-old man from Mexico City, apprehended by Nogales Station Border Patrol agents in November 2011, was sentenced August 24 to 40 months of confinement.     Lukeville, Ariz. - Two women were arrested yesterday in separate incidents for allegedly attempting to smuggle nearly $106,000 worth of marijuana into the United States through the Lukeville Port.Customs and Border Protection officers referred Maria Del Refugio Gonzalez, 37, of Rocky Point, Mexico, for secondary inspection of her Toyota truck when she attempted to enter the United States.     SALTON CITY, Calif. - Border Patrol agents busted a vehicle containing $90,000 in meth concealed inside a fire extinguishing Tuesday.

    El Centro Border Patrol agents assigned to the Indio station discovered the meth at the Highway 86 checkpoint, between Westmorland and Salton City, Calif.

    A drug-sniffing canine alerted to the 2001 Toyota Camry. The fire extinguisher containing 3 pounds of meth was located in the trunk during the secondary inspection.

    The driver, a 42-year-old Unites States citizen, was turned over to the DEA for processing.
