U.S. and Mexican officials said today that the dispute over Mexican President Vicente Fox's comments about American blacks had been resolved. -- Even Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera, the archbishop of Mexico City, defended Fox's comments, saying: "The declaration had nothing to do with racism. It is a reality in the United States that anyone can prove."

Resolved? Maybe you bureaucrats think it's resolved, but you aint resolved nothing with us "the American people" yet. Notice no one asked us if we accept Vicente the Mexican KKK's weak/pathetic/half hearted/half baked/sorry excuse of an apology? Oh because the answer would be No, we aint buying it. Vicentes true colors have shown him to be a racist pig on top of being an arrogant, pompous a--. Notice too that the only people defending Vicente are those in his own country? Yeah Vicente's sorry alright, sorry that he got caught.

Many Mexicans did not see Fox's remark about blacks as offensive. Blackface comedy, while demeaning to many Americans, is still considered funny here and many people are given nicknames based on skin color.

Doesn't this signify that Mexico is a racist nation and not just against the Euro Gringo either?

"This is an exaggeration," said Manuel Espino, leader of the conservative National Action Party. "There have been a lot harsher comments that come from north of the border, and we don't scream and shout about it."

Yeah right! That is an absolute lie. Anytime this country ever tries to enforce it's laws and protects it's sovereignty these bunch of clowns are always pumping their fists in the air, thumping their chests screaming racism and discrimination the first chance they get and they threaten to take us to the World Court and try to sue us in our own courts as well. They are so full of crap they stink.

I really hate to say it, but I am so glad a pope from Latin America wasn't chosen. The pressure from the Catholic church would be even greater than it is now.
